1. The Prologue
New York City, 2015 it was when Aria first moved to New York.
2. Chapter 1&2
Los Angeles, 2010 it was somekind of flashback to 4 years before Aria moved to New York.
3. Chapter 3
New York City, PRESENT DAY it was 2 years after Aria moved to New York. She already spent 2 years in New York. So basically it was 2 years after the prologue happened.
So try to make sure you read about the date or whereabouts on top of the chapters.
