"New album?"
Kill me.
"Yeah, actually. We've got a few things written already, but we should be able to come up with a fifth album in the next year."
Brendon was a natural. He got this going on. He didn't seem to mind answering the same fucking questions, over and over again, every single day of his life, and he actually even seemed to enjoy it.
I, on the other hand, would have prefered being stabbed in the stomach with a fork.
Seriously, what's the point? Couldn't they, like, share their answers or something? Give one big interview and that's it.
"And being married? How does that influence your collaboration?"
"It doesn't. Ryan and I have always been great friends; working together never really was a problem. Now, of course, we're alot closer than we were back then, but it generally doesn't change anything in the band."
He was smiling, laughing, shaking hands and signing autographs all the time.
I swear, he was, like, my idol.
How could he even do that?
My husband was a mysterious, yet so, so perfect man.
"Ryan Ross, Brendon Ur- Ross, thank you so much! Don't forget to download their latest album Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die! on Itunes!"
Brendon and I stood up and shook the interviewer's hand before leaving.
We got outside the building and I put my sunglasses on. Nevada in the middle of July is the best thing ever. Warm, sunny, crowdy but only around beaches and casinos and, oh did I mention sunny?
"Always into interviews, aren't we, Ross?" he asked, laughing.
"I was a pain in the ass," I replied, taking his hand.
"It's okay. But... You know. A pain in my ass would be better the next time."
I laughed. "Dumbass."
"Awe, come on." he kissed me. "You love it."
"I have to say I do. Hey when do we have to meet Jon and Spence?"
"Oh, uh..." he checked his watch. "Twenty minutes at Olive Garden's. We should be going."
I nodded and we got to his car.
I hated car rides, but car rides with my husband were okay.
Yeah, I could totally deal with those.
