"Transgender people using the bathroom" First Lgbt~~ At school we had a discussion about the government. Specifically the "How bill becomes a Law" Then we had to do it ourselves. We wrote a bill and mine was specifically about... Transgender and using the bathroom.
I wanted to see how people in my class had thought about this, especially when it was discussed in the news before.
I was extremely surprised that not many people had agreed to this. I understand people's opinions... But I... Didn't think they understood what I meant to say.
When people started disagreeing because male and female would've felt uncomfortable with a person of the opposite gender come into the restroom.
I had stated that... What if they had already changed there gender and become the one they wanted to be associated by. Because it seems as though they were implying that just of appearance wise.
However I wasn't explaining clearly... I always had a hard time speaking in class. I'm not sure how to explain it.. But I felt like I was going to burst into tears. My voice was.. Watery?? I stuttered constantly...
However that's not the point!! When we voted on it... I had received 9 people agreeing on it. But I understood why... That people would feel uncomfortable with the person of the opposite gender go in the bathroom.
After all if I remember correctly.. That was also the problem from the news. However... what do you think?? Do you think transgender people should go to the bathrooms they want to be associated for??
