I stormed out of the room, not taking a single look back. I was hurt. I mean I'm his girlfriend, but then I find out he was on a date with Lauren.

My mind couldn't comprehend what was happening. Shawn never seemed like the guy to do this sort of thing, but I guess I was wrong.

I sat in the lobby trying to clear my head.  Next door, there was a Starbucks, so I just decided to go there.  I bought a drink and sat down at an empty table.

I ran my fingers through my hair and tried to process everything.  As I did so, I saw a hand on my table.

"Hello miss.  I couldn't help but notice you were sitting here alone," I looked up to see a man smiling down at me.

"Oh, um, yeah," I mumbled with a shy smile.

"Well a pretty girl like you shouldn't be sitting alone, may I take this extra seat?" He asked and I nodded.

"I'm Nick by the way," he said and held out his hand to me.

"Amanda," I said and shook his hand.

I examined his face, and he looked vaguely familiar to me.

"What?" He chuckled and I just shook my head.

"Nothing you just look very familiar," I said and he laughed again.

"Oh um yeah my full name is Nick Robinson. I'm from a few movies maybe you've seen?" He said but more like a question.

"Oh yeah! You're from Jurassic World huh?" I said and he smiled.

"Yeah that's the most recent one," he said and I nodded.

"Well I thought that movie was amazing," I said and I smiled again.

"Thank you," he said and right after that my phone buzzed.

I picked it up and read that it was from Shawn.

Amanda, please just let me explain where are you?

I sighed and knew I was giving in too quickly.

"Everything alright?" Nick asked and I just looked down at my phone.

"Y-yeah, just boyfriend troubles," I said and he just nodded.

"Oh is everything alright?" He asked and I shrugged.

"It's complicated," I mumbled while getting up from the seat.

"Well in case you need anyone to talk to, why don't I give you my number?" He said and I smiled.

"Sure," was all I said as I handed him my phone.

"Cool, I'll text you later?" He said and I nodded.

"I'll look forward to it," I said and walked out of the shop.

I made my way back to the hotel and was just standing outside of the room. I didn't know that if I went in, it would be bad or something, but I knew I had to face it at some point.

I slowly opened the door, and all the lights were off.

"Shawn?" I mumbled through the darkness.

There wasn't anymore sunlight, so I was just stuck in the dark. Then, all of the sudden, the lights turned back on and a trail of roses could be seen on the ground.

My eyes followed them into the living room part of the hotel and I saw Shawn start strumming on his guitar.

"Shawn what are you-" he cut me off by smiling at me.

"I just want you to listen to this please," he said and I nodded as he continued to play his guitar.

My eyes were watering and I didn't know what to do expect run into Shawn's arms.

"I'm so sorry baby, what happened with Lauren wasn't what-" I cut him off before he could continue apologizing.

I pressed my lips to his, wanting to forget all of the misunderstandings today had and just be with Shawn.

"Don't apologize please. I'm the one that screwed up," I said and pressed my lips to his again.

"No you didn't. It was my fault for trying to get Lauren to help me," he said and kissed me again.

"Baby I love you," I mumbled while pulling away from our multiple kisses.

"And I love you," he said with a smile.

"Promise me nothing will ever come between us," he said and I nodded.

"I promise Shawn...always," I said and with that, my phone buzzed.

I got it out of my pocket and saw that it was a message.
