Chapter 6

Rachel came in early this morning and told me I'd be starting school tomorrow and to be honest I'm terrified. What if normal people don't like me, that would just make me sick knowing I'm not wanted anywhere however I had to start somewhere. Stacking the dishes away I heard rustling and turned around to see somebody rummaging through the cupboards, my first instinct was to grab the pan. But if they ignored me they would have had to live here, yiu could never be too careful. Holding the pan out I tiptoed  slowly over to the pecupboard but when I was close there was no one there. Standing there confused and I jumped when I felt someone breathing down my neck

"Never let you guard down" a husky voice spoke. On instinct I shut my eyes and turned quickly and swung my arms back but I never felt the impact

"Don't try hit me" I heard a familiar laugh

Peeking my eye open I saw Gabe standing front of me, his dark brown eyes were blurry but tinged with grey making them frightening and beautiful. I blushed at the small space seperating us. He still held my wrist above my head, our bodies inches from one another. My heart rate picked up and my body heated, why am I feeling like this. I should only feel like this with my mate

Something's not rright

"Can you let my wrist go" I asked prying my eyes away

"I like it this way" he leaned closer his chest brushing my head, his height was similar to Jay's and I hated being short

"Well I don't" I lied trying to get my wrist free but his grip tightened

I was being to dependant on Jay. Whats wrong with me, I like the way Gabe was looking at me but I felt like I was cheating. Why would anyone ever want me, even bother taking a second look

"How's alpha Bradyn" he smirked

"Jay's fine" I said harshly

"Feisty, I like that" he released my hand and stepping away

I groaned and stormed away, I had only managed to get to the doorway when Gabe stood in front of me with his arms crossed. He had muscles but nothing compared to Jay's. He was smirking at me and next thing I know he's picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, growling I started hitting and kicking at him but he only laughed at my attempts to get off

"Let me go!" I yelled slapping the back of his head

"Soon but I want to play a game first" His voice came out husky and threatening

I tried reaching for my phone to call Jay but Gabe beat me to it and reached in my back pocket and pulled it out. I could feel the chilly morning air on my butt and down my back, I momentarily shivered before I was lifted down and put on a beach chair. Feeling a little cold I tucked myself into a ball

"Look at me"

"Why" I stared at the pebble path surrounding the pool

"Look Abby" he said in his alpha voice, I hated when they did that they can't just control you it's irritating

"That doesn't work on me" I kept my voice hard, I will not be easily intimidated

The chair was pulled forward and my face was inches away from his. My breath caught in my throat and I gulped, only Jay should make me feel like this but for some reason Gabe carries a sensual aura around him a thing only your mate should make you feel, Before comprehending what he was about to do his eyes locked with mine and they were clouded with lust, his eyes travelled down to my lips hungrily and he leaned in closing the last inch of space. His lips brushed mine lightly and tasted like chocolate, his lips were soft and felt like......Jay's. I liked Jay's lips, Gabe had lips like his, I wanted more
