"Try going to the party" My father calmly said.

"Party, or the boarding school!" My mom yelled in exchange.

I was irritated since the morning. Everyone was bugging me about the party. My uncle, mom, dad, sister...

It's annoying as hell.

"Is this really nessesary?!" I yelled back and dropped the fork on my plate.

"Watch your tone" Dad warned.

"Well maybe you really have to go to boarding school, so you can stop being a shame on our family!" My mother didn't stop.

"Shame? Shame?! Well excuse you then! I'm YOUR daughter, if you forgot! I am your family member if you like it or not!" I got up with my plate, which I threw in the sink.

I got up to my room with heavy steps to make everyone realize that I was really angry.

I lied backwards on my bed when my sister came in.

"Yelling again, Skye?" Rory said as she closed the door behind her.

I didn't respond. I just rolled on the other side. Maybe she would leave.

Instead, she came over and sat on the chair at my desk.

Meet my sister: Rory.

She is two years older than me. Has black hair, and unusual, violet eyes. She wears glasses as a typical nerd, but hey, she is smarter than me.

That's who my parents want me to be like.

"Party is better than boarding school"

"You have never been to a party" I mumbled.

"Have you in exchange?"

I sighed.

"Listen, all your dreams about vampires, the gem, necklace and others...It really sounds crazy" She made a nervous giggle.

"So even you are laughing at me" I got up. "You don't have to believe me. Even more, I'm used to this. Everyone thinks I'm a crazy teenager, fan of vampires. Which I can tell you I'm not" I raised my shoulders.

"Yea...Listen...I don't know, but try going to the party, socialize a bit"

"You, a person who studies all day, tells me to go and make friends?" I ask.

She nods her head.

"It's so ironic, it hurts" I imitate squashing my heart.

But, if you think about it, I might get a friend who can come over in her free time and let my parents see that I'm not a freak. And yes, by saying she, I mean that it will totally be a girl.

"Okay, I'll go"

Rory clapped her hands and hugged me. "I really hope you will get along with everyone, including parents"

"Yeah, thanks" I hugged her back.

It was already ten o'clock at night.

Maybe I can stop nightmares for a day if I'll spend whole night there and come back for sunset. So I won't have to see him. Him abusing me. Him controlling me. Him bitting me. And harrassing me...Who knows, what he might do today.

Even if it's only in my dreams, last month all he has been saying was that he would come soon to get me.

Then he would attempt coming closer, but purple light would shine across his body and I'd wake up.

No one really believed me whenever I told someone about this. Everyone thought I was just crazy over vampires. Some of them thought I even had vampire stuff in my attic.

And they think I'm crazy.

To be honest, first time I saw a vampire was at the train station.

When I was eight years old.

Lots of people were passing me and my dad. I was holding my dad's hand like the last thread of life.

Then all of a sudden, my eyes locked on a weird looking guy. In a good way.

He was shining. He was brighter than any of the people walking past me.

His skin was different, his eyes were different... And his handsomeness was unbeatable.

That's when one word slipped from my mouth.

"Vampire"

I whispered.

Dad stopped and asked me if I said anything.

I shook my head and turned to the guy again. He was walking forward, but looking at me with those frightening eyes.

Before he could dissapear, he smirked at me. "What's your name, princess?"

I was pretty sure he moved his lips, but how did I hear that? How?

There were so many people walking around me, so much noise.

But his smooth voice slizered in my head.

I wanted to say Skye. That my name was Skye.

But watching him, I missed how train came and how eveyone got in it.

As the doors closed I turned my head to find him, but he vanished. Without a trace.

Soon, I aged and become used to seeing vampires everywhere.

You think it's hard to find them? Tottaly no.

Their beauty is always standing out. Always.

Their skin is unusualy white. But most of them are tan on purpose, so no one can suspect them on being ill or being a vampire.

Then their nails. Boy's nails are much more prettier than normal human girls. As if everyone had a blue polish on their nails.

But out of these, first thing you're gonna notice are the eyes.

Mystirious, frightening eyes.

When you stare at them, it's as if you are entering their world. You will get the shivers on you back, you will forget about the noise around you. Everything will turn black, expect them.

That's why I try to avoid them and pretend that I have no idea who they are.

I know many vampires that I'm friends with. I mean that I have to be friends with them.

One is my classmate, Ray.

He's a very sweet, charming and smart guy. You would most definatelly fall for his charms.

But even if I addmitted he had everything you wanted in a guy, he still was a bloodsucking monster.

Monster, that was hidden inside those frightening eyes.

I got my best outfit on (which were sleevless t-shirt and jeans), and went out.

It was dark. Darker than usual actually.

No stars, but no clouds. Only shining moon.

For a second, I thought it was turning into red colour..

I waved my hands. "Imagination"
