Our bodies saying the untold words as our mouths focused on kissing.

When I had opened the door tonight, I never expected it to be him. My mind had raced, worried he would be so mad with me. For him to come this way and apologise, then propose, it was a night I would never forget.

"Why didn't you tell me that you wanted to buy your own salon one day?" he asked as I lay curled up against his side.

The rain still coming down hard on the roof as his fingertips traced over the curve of my breast. "Because I didn't have time to run my own business and take care of Jenna at home. I made a choice, and it's never been a regret."

"You will have your own business. I'll build it if I have to." He said assuring. "Don't give up on your dreams for me."

"You are my dreams." He was my future.

His hand move downwards, back to my swollen belly. "Boy or girl?" he sat up, propped on his elbow as he looked at me with a broad smile.

There was no way he could have faked this, he was definitely happy about the pregnancy. "I don't know."

"I'd like a girl, who looks like you."

I smiled at that. "I'd like a boy, who looks just like you."

He laughed, shaking his head as he noticed he pile of baby items placed on the floor by the dresser. "So, your mum really brought all of these?"

"Except this, I did choose something a couple of weeks back that you may like." And I sat, pulling on his shirt that came just beneath my bum, even with the pregnancy tummy sticking out. I came back, passing him the small white paper bag. "They're so cute. It was a hard to resist purchase."

He sat, the sheets pooled around his waist covering his naked lower half as he dug through the bag, and lifted out the small navy overalls. His smile grew. "Looks like I will have a little helper to come and work with me then." Placing the bag down, his arms were wrapping back around me, pulling me back into bed. "When I found the test, I was angry at first, but only because Parker knew before I did. I can't believe how I spoke to you when you were already pregnant, I swear I did want children with you, I was just trying to please Jenna."

"I don't want you to hate yourself over it. We're going to be ok, I want to move forward and for all of us to be happy. I mean sure, I didn't expect to be pregnant without some trying, but I was incredibly happy when I found out. Having your baby, and marrying you was life goals that I can now tick off." I smiled, looking up at him behind me.

He laughed. "Life goals, huh? Hmm, we may have to put some more goals on that board for you. I want to move forward also."

"How is Jenna? Was you home often or working?" I had so many questions that I wanted to know about.

"It was hard, I won't deny that. You're the glue that keeps the house in order, and without you, I really struggled." He blew out a breath, laying back onto the pillow more. "Mum was there, but she refused to do everything and I put my fist through a wall twice." His chest vibrated as he laughed softly. "I've only spent one night in our bed, and we lived off take out. I stopped shaving as you can see, and started drinking a lot. It's been the worst couple months of my life."

My heart began to race. "You slept with other people?" he'd only spent one night in his own bed. My mind began to race.

"What?" then he turned, looking at me as he realised what he had said. "Fuck. No. I meant I slept on the couch, I wasn't even thinking about having sex with anyone unless it's with you. I didn't go anywhere beside work." Stroking my cheek tenderly, he whispered. "You're the only one I'll ever be with."
