I texted Ariana again to see if she had already gotten here but she never replied. I went to the cooler and poured soda into my red cup. I went to the kitchen to grab some tequila when I spotted Ariana.

"Ari! Hey!" I yelled over the different noises.

"Oh hey Y/N!" She waved. She was sitting on the kitchen counter talking to Sean, the guy she was talking to the other day on the field. He walked away and took that as a chance to strike up a conversation.

"So when did you start doing cheerleading?!" I said trying my best to raise my voice over the loud music.

"What?! I can't hear!" She yelled getting closer to me.

"When did you- Nevermind! Can we talk later?" I yelled closer to her ear. She nodded. I was about to say something else but Sean came back and handed her a red cup so she turned her attention back to him. I rolled my eyes and walked away. I grabbed another red cup and filled it will tequila.

I walked to the back yard where people were jumping into the pool and smoking weed. I walked towards the tree where my dad had built a treehouse before he left. I climbed up and sat at the edge and looked down at all the people.

"Y/N?" A crying voice asked. I turned my head back and saw Camila was sitting down on the mattress I had put up here.

"Hey why are you crying?" I asked worriedly.

"Sh-Shawn he dumped me for Hailee." She stuttered as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"What! I swear I'm going to fuck that scrawny bitch up!" I yelled and started moving off the bed but Camila grabbed my arm and held me back.

"No please- can you just stay with me?" She sighed. I nodded and sat back down with her. I securely wrapped my arm around her as she leaned against me.

"Are you drunk?" She asked and looked up at my face.

"No." I softly laughed. I looked at her face, her eyes were puffy and sad.

"You know Shawn doesn't deserve you, he's a piece of trash. You deserve someone that'll treat you better than he can-" I stopped ranting and looked at Camila who was staring into nothing. After a few moments she finally spoke up.

"You mean someone like... you?" She asked and looked back at my face. I began to get nervous.

"Uh y-yea could be me or you know anybody else." I said. I cursed myself for stuttering. She softly laughed.

"You know you're cute when your nervous." Camila said giving me small smile. I softly smiled back.

"And I'm sorry, you know for treating you like shit all the time." She apologized sincerely.

"What? You treating me like shit? I never noticed." I joked. She punched my arm playfully.

"But like I was saying earlier, I think you're beautiful and deserve to be treated like a princess." I said seriously.

"You're a sweet person Y/N, that's one of the things I like about you." She said.

Suddenly it felt like the whole atmosphere changed and she started leaning in and so did I. Just as our lips were about to touch I moved back.
