This is an author's note for bills sake.

So alot of people still have a problem decoding the codes in this series even though I've made sure to use the very basic, of basic codes to actually code messages.

I normally encode every single code myself , By hand might I add, because I think the fun is working hard to finding out what the message is. Just like in gravityfalls with how Alex Hirsch is always hiding coded messages in every episode , I wanted to have a few codes spread around this series, and all of my gravityfalls books. Now, I'm not calling out anyone or trying to ' shine the spotlight' on people who just don't know how to decode things or aren't devoted to gravityfalls as much to learn how to decode ciphers, it's just gotten on my nerves and takes up pretty much half of the Thousands/ not even joking. Almost daily i get about 100 notifications from my books alone, I've had to turn them off because my phone started suffering from them/ of notifications I get on a monthly basis from wattpad.

I've said this multiple times in comments and to be honest ,

I can't be bothered to reply to comments like :

" I don't know what this means!"

" I can't decode this!"

" I'm too lazy to decode this , it's too hard!"

Here's a simple answer to your struggles. If you didn't know it already I use the Caesar cipher which To Encode a message you must shift each letter 3 letters back.

To Decipher the Caesar cipher , you must shift the letters 3 letters forwards.

This is Literally,  the simplest cipher there is. I could have chosen a much harder cipher, or even made my own.
It's easy to decipher by hand, any RoOtHM member can tell you that much.

I'll use one of the codes in this book , this one is from " hello old friend" where bill is talking to Jeff the gnome king.

Instructions: 

You literally just copy and paste the coded message in ,

click "+3 letters"

and WOW !!!!1!!!1111!
look , the actual deciphered message.

If anyone has any further problems such as :

▪The website not working

▪you can't figure out how to decode the message

▪can't copy and paste from wattpad

None of those are my problems to solve. I don't own wattpad, and I don't own the site I'm giving as an example.

Now, like I said earlier in this note, i will not be answering any more comments asking how to decipher the coded messages since I'm Trying to finish this series. That being said, I also wont be answering any questions on when the series will have another chapter since I've already stated that I want to end it in one go. As in : I want to upload every single chapter that will make up the last ones when they are all done.

I don't intend to come off as rude, mean,  or even in the slightest sarcastic- well ok, maybe that last one. But seriously, anyone could just Google how to solve the Caesar cipher , any decoding website can decipher it, you can even do it by hand if you wanted to! I created this book as a fun little side project to relieve stress, I never thought it would blow up to be this huge , 100k reads thing. The codes were just abit of fun people were supposed to figure out by themselves but I get that not everyone likes being a Dipper and cracking codes mid way through a chapter. This being said, I'm not going to stop coding messages because I feel any gravityfall's fanfic should at least have one coded message in the spirit of gravityfalls.
