Painter actually has carpal tunnel from drawing too much. He has a brace for it, but loathes using it because it is such a pain trying to draw when you can't move your wrist.
(Inspired by me realizing I might have carpal tunnel and having all my hopes and dreams crash down around me because WHY?!?? WHY MUST THE WORLD BE SO CRUEL?!? HALF OF MY BLOOMIN' STORIES ARE ON PAPER, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FINISH THEM IF I CANT WRITE WITHOUT FEELING THE URGE TO SCREAM IN AGONY?!?!!)
