Jeff has a really bad allergy to cats, even hypoallergenic ones. If he's around them too much, his eyes tear up and become irratated, he gets congested, and starts sneezing uncontrollably. He hates it, and looks so miserable whenever he's around cats and is in this state that several other Noodles carry around heavy-duty allergy medication simply for this reason

(I have really bad cat allergies, except instead of Jeff, I always feel like I need to sneeze, but I never can. It sucks. I'm also allergic to hypoallergenic cats because I'm special. Seriously. I don't know how this works.)
