It was the day of Wrestlemania. Roman was facing Randy Orton for the Wwe Championship. Randy had been champion for almost a year and everybody had their shot including former members of the shield, Seth and Dean, now it was Roman's turn.
As it came to the main event I was backstage looking at the tv crossing my fingers for Roman. It was a tough match and both Randy and Roman were putting up a hell of a fight until Randy slipped up and Roman hit him with the Superman punch. Roman pinned him ONE! TWO! THREE!!!
"Yeees! I say jumping "He did it, he finally did it." I say about to cry
"Here's your new Wwe Champion....Roman Reigns!!!" Lillian Garcia declares as the crowd goes crazy
I seen Roman on his knees hugging the championship belt as confetti go on and around him. After a few seconds of letting it sink in, he then goes on the top rope holding the Wwe Championship high.
"Yeeeeeeah" He roars
He then gets off the top rope and grabs a microphone.
" I know I got only a few minutes left before we go off air but I just want to thank all of you, the Wwe universe for making this happen." Roman says then pauses as the crowd goes crazy.Without you there would be no Roman Reigns and this title is not only for me but its for you. And also I want to thank my daughter Alani, even though you're miles away now,daddy loves you and he'll see you soon. And last but not least to my girlfriend and the mother of my unborn son, who stuck by me through everything, lord knows what I put her through but she always had a heavy heart, she's back stage and I would like her to come out here. You guys might recognize her because she was once the member of the shield and the first person ever to do our entrance with us. Let's all cheer for her...Le-one!! Le-one!! Le-one!!"Roman says as the starts off a chain reaction
As I walk to the stage I could hear the crowd cheer my name.When I step out the curtains, they begin to scream. I wave to the fans nervously. I haven't been in the Wwe for quite some time and to face the crowd again after a long hiatus was a little nerve racking but those nerves quickly went away once I remembered how comfortable I felt in the ring and with the fans, and seeing Roman helped a little bit.
As I stepped out, Roman gets out the ring and walks toward me.
"Hey beautiful" He whispers in my ear after kissing me on the cheek
"Congrats baby, I'm so proud of you." I say kissing him back
"Before we go I just wanted to do something extra special tonight. I said if I won, that would be of a sign to god that I should do this, so shall we...." Roman says
"Yeaaaaaaaa!!!" The crowd screams
"Michael I believe I had you hold something of mine." Roman says to Michael Cole, a ring announcer for the Wwe
"You did, I'm coming." Michael says grabbing a microphone and power walking towards us
"Thank you Michael" Roman says taking the box from him
"Now I told myself if I won tonight, we both were going to be winners tonight. I know their rushing me and I'm going to keep this short. Leone I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you ...." He says while kneeling down on one knee with the box with a ring inside, in his hand
"Will you marry me baby?" He says gazing into my eyes smiling
The crowd starts screaming "YES! YES! YES! YES!"
"YES! Of course" I say crying as he puts the ring on my finger and kisses me
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the new Wwe champion and Mrs. Reigns." Michael Cole says as we stand side my side together in front of thousands
"Thank you" Roman says waving as we leave the stage
As we leave the stage we see many of the superstars waiting outside to congratulate us our engagement and also Roman for winning the Wwe championship. Two of those superstars being Naomi and Jimmy.
"Congrats Girl" Naomi says hugging me "I hope you like it, cause I'm the one that picked it out".
"So all this time you didn't tell me?." I say surprised
"I had to keep a secret, I didn't want not one but two someones going after me lol" Naomi laughs
" It's okay. Thank you so much boo" I say hugging her
"Don't mention it. You deserve it." She says as she pulls away to hug Roman and for Jimmy to hug me
"Congrats lil sis" Jimmy says hugging me
"Thank you so much Jimmy." I say while hugging him back
As I was hugging Jimmy, I seen Seth but before I could call him over, he stormed off. I wondered why he didn't come by to congratulate us or at least say hi but my focus quickly turned on the superstars that were there to support Roman and I. As I hugged and conversated with people, Seth was in the locker room trying to pull himself together.
" Their getting married? Their getting married!!" Seth says to himself, pacing back and forth
Dean was one of the superstars there to congratulate us and he managed to see when Seth stormed off and after having a conversation with Roman, went to go see what was up with him.
"Dude? What's your problem?" Dean said walking into the locker room seeing Seth pacing around
"Man I tried, I really tied.....I promised I wasn't going to try anything and that I was going to stay away from her but with Roman doing shit like this, it throws me off. He did that shit on purpose. He proposed to her on tv because he knew I would see it and he wanted to stick it to me. And she said yes....she said yes because she is scared of him. I'm going to protect her." Seth says still pacing around
"YOUR not going to do anything, sit down. I use to think she got in your head, but it's your paranoia. Roman would never hurt her, and he would never intentionally hurt you. You guys are brothers man. I really am worried about you." Dean says attempting to calm Seth down as he makes him take a seat with him
"Don't be worried about me. I'm fine Okay." Seth says getting his stuff to leave the arena
" Please if not for me then for you, go and try to talk to someone about this." Dean says trying to reason with Seth
"Are you trying to recommend me going to a shrink? Yea like that'll ever happen" Seth says chuckling
"I'm serious. Every Time you see them together you go crazy and every time it gets worse. There was this shrink I use to go to to talk about my father and it really helped." Dean says
" You needed a shrink to tell you that your father was a drunken ass hole, and that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Seth says taking an un-needed jab at Dean
"You know what fuck you. You're not the same person I once knew. The Seth I knew would have never said that to me, he would have never stoop that low. FUCK YOU!!" Dean says pushing Seth and storming out the locker room
By then Roman and I had left and were on our way home. In a weeks was Roman's birthday. What were to transpire that week, I wouldn't have wished on my worst enemy.
