The Maccles Solutions deal was over with.
We had pretty heated up meeting with them.
But we had killed it.

"Did you see their faces?. Amazing! Whoo!"
I fisted in the air as we came out of the meeting room.
" Man I feel pumped."

I looked towards him. He was swiftly typing into his phone not breaking one expression.

"Dude we landed a deal. C'mon uptop!"
I waved my hand at him expecting a high five back. He walked through me like a ghost.
He didn't care.

"Fine sour puss." I muttered.

He stopped in his tracks and looked back.
"What did you just call me?"

"Nothing."

"Sour puss?"
He asked advancing towards me. My eyes for a second noticed his phone. He could crush his phone with that grip he had over it his knuckles had turned white.

One of these days I would be murdered.

"Yeah..." I looked away.

"Mind yourself Elysium."
He almost breath the fire into my face.

"I have the minutes of meeting do you wanna look at it?"
I brought out my notepad almost thrusting it on his face.

He backed a bit ,looking into his watch and walked away.
"Call up my driver ASAP."
He barked.

I fumbled with my phone and dialled the driver's number.

I threw my keys into the the bowl after a tedious day. I had to do my minutes of meeting three times over and I had to write the weekly report. That aside from the the number of times I ran errands for him. I swear these two months I was doomed not to sleep.

I plopped on the sofa and stretching my legs. My knuckles popped. My back popped also my neck.
I was a live microwave cookin' popcorn.
My eyes were were closing down on their own.
And then.....
My phone rang again for the third time or so. Mumbling a few curses I took my phone and cringed at the name which flashed.

"Yes Mr Veldon?"

"Reach the venue the car is waiting down your apartment building."
The call was cut off without a warning.

I looked out my window to see the familiar car waiting on the opposite side of the street.

Two minutes later I was walking across the street waving at the driver.
He acknowledged me and I opened the car's door for me. I got in quietly.

"So where are we going?"I asked after a couple of minutes.

He looked through the rear view mirror confused.
"I assumed you knew."

"Umm he didn't say anything."

The car door opened and I could see a grand decorated entrance.

"Good luck." He handed me an intricate invite card.
Oh no.

I was at the bottom of the steps with the invitation in my hand. I didn't move a muscle.
It was a black tie event and I was the black sheep.

No I wasn't going in, I gulped.
I swear if he did this purposely.
Wait a minute...

Motherfu.....

My face turned scarlett as I stared into the glass reflection from one of the huge vase of orchids lined.

"Oh he's such a dick. Such a ..." I breathed fast and I couldn't control my anger. I had killed him in my head in many ways.
I knew this was only the beginning of his ways. I had to be cautious but with him I am not so sure how I could prevent to have these situations.
