One day when Spencer was visiting his mother Diana he met her. Who is 'her' you might ask? Well that would be the girl they call "Alice" though Alice wasn't her name, her name was Nova Bates.
And Nova Bates has schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder. She imagines all of Alice's friends from Wonderland. And they were her other personalities. Which earned Nova herself the nickname of Alice when she was actually herself. Though the girl looked nothing like the blonde girl from Wonderland.
Nova had long fiery red hair that reminded Spencer of the color of the Mad Hatters hair. It went all the way down her back and was always tousled about and never pristine. Her bright blue eyes were always changing colors, but when she was herself they were chocolate brown and pure looking. So innocent and full of sadness. Maybe that is why Spencer was drawn to her.
