Proposal

It was valentines day. And because you missed Niall a lot, you visited him on this day. The boys had all their girlfriends with them. We didn’t go to a city because we wanted our privacy. We went to monument Valley. There was a little hotel there in the middle of the desert.

Of course in the dessert it was really hot. I was practical melting there, so I just stayed indoors. Niall and I became silly like always. We did stupid voices, tried to talk in each others accent and tickled each other. It was a perfect valentines day.

Niall and I were in bed. We just looked at each other. Niall grabbed a strand of hair and put it behind my ear. ‘’you’re  so beautiful. Did you know that?’’ I blushed and smiled to the Mattress. Something I always did when he complemented me. ‘’And you’re so handsome. Did you know that?’’ I asked. Now it was his turn to blush.

We always did this. He said I was beautiful and then I told him he was handsome. It became an automatic routine, but we both knew that we meant it by heart. While I was staring at him, I saw in the corner of my eye that the sun was about to set. I was enchanted by it.

I stood up from the bed and went to the balcony. It was beautiful. The sun gave an orange glow, while the sky that the glow didn't cover was dark blue. You could see a few stars in the sky already. The sun was exactly in the middle of two big rocks. It was absolutely breathtaking. 

After a while I felt someone behind me. In a second I knew that it was Niall. He started to kiss my neck. I moaned a little and moved my neck so that he had more access.

I was watching the sun set again while enjoying the pleasure Niall was giving me. It was a perfect moment until my stomach began to grumble.

''hungry princess?'' I just nodded. ''Let's go to the restaurant downstairs'' I said. ''I have a better idea'' Niall whispered in my ear. I was a little confused. We walked into the hotel room again. Niall went into his bag and grabbed an eye mask. ''are you planning on sleeping?'' I asked with a little smile on my lips. Niall smiled too. ''No. I want it to be a surprise so I'm going to blindfold you'' He said moving closer. ''oooh, mysterious.'' I said jokingly.

I closed my eyes and let Niall put the blindfold on. ''All comfy?'' I nodded. He gently grabbed my arms and led me to the door. I didn't put my hands up, I trusted Niall completely. I heard footsteps behind me and a soft whisper. I didn't make out what it said so I just shrugged it off. 

I heard another door open. In just a second I was raised from the ground. Niall held me bridal styles and led me, what felt like, a stairs. Niall stopped walking and put me gently down. ''ready princess?'' Niall asked me. I nodded my head, curious what was about to happen.

Niall removed the eye mask and I was in awestruck. He had put out an entire picknick out for us. There was a candle in the middle, rose pedals everywhere and all of our favorite food layed on that blanked, with a perfect view of the sunset. He even managed to get Nando's. 

''Do you like it?'' Niall asked hopefully. I couldn't answer. I was too mesmerized by everything, I never thought any boy would do something like this for me. I felt Niall start to panic. ''euhm..if you don't like it we could do something else. It doesn't really matter for me...'' I cut Niall off with a kiss. ''It's perfect.'' I whispered against his lips.

I felt him relax against me. He slowly put his hands on my waist pulling me closer, while I put my hands in his hair. Messing up his perfect quiff. He didn't really mind though, we both were too caught up in the kiss, we were too deep in love to mind what we looked like. 

I never wanted to pull away. I wanted to feel those lips on me forever. The warmth and the comfort they gave like nothing else in the world. But we needed to pull away for air. We rested our foreheads against each other. Close enough to feel his breath on my lips.
