Chapter 7 | 'Alpha King'

Jealousy rose in me at the thought of someone with him except me.

Good thing we killed that bitch, he's ours.

Dahlia..don't get your hopes up, it did take that girl time to get near him that means she meant enough to him to let her.

He might not want us.

NO. HE CAN'T DO THAT TO YOU, TO US.

I felt dizzy from Dahlia's screaming, my heart tightened at her words she sounded desperate, hurt, broken. If he does reject us, then I am in fault. Dahlia really deserves better than me.

I am sorry.

I was about to block her before she whispered.

It's not your fault.

She whispered quietly.

She was crying.

She knew. I knew. We could feel it , him, he's angry, his eyes held none of those emotions such as 'love' 'affection' 'joy' that normal new mated wolves show.

Alone.

They took all I had, I am alone.

Once again.

The voice spoke again but not the normal report type, no, it was a voice so vulnerable, so broken I almost didn't recognise it.

The usually cold voice, had emotions in it.

"You two are coming with us, the Alpha wants to see you before he makes a decision" His voice was cold as ice his gaze distant not looking at me but her or what I left from her.

His jaw visibly clenshed, his beautiful ice blue eyes darkening.

I felt sadness, his mate is right in front of him, what does he do? Ignore her.

The two other pack members who I totally forgot, went behind us pushing us to move, Jenn went to my right clinging on the end of my T-shirt.

"Move rogues. Our Alpha doesn't like to wait" the brown haired sneered in disgusts.

They stopped for a second I saw that their eyes were glazed over, my mate is mind linking them.

They continued to walk, my mate who I still don't know the name of, walked in our front, the two behind us stopped pushing us...or just Jenn, they still push me from time to time.

Our mate has a caring nature. I sarcastically thought.

We walked all the way to the Pack House in silence, it was a good walk I had all the time to admire the trained back of my mate, I loved the way his muscles flexed with each step, how broad his back is, how his height easily over towers my 5'7 small frame.

We walked in the Nightfall Pack's Pack house, it was bigger than the Redmoon pack's but it was logical. It is the strongest pack in the world of course they have a lot of pack members.

As we walked in Jenn stopped her eyes wide, she looked around sniffing the air.

This will be interesting.

"If I were you, I would back off" I told the guys who are still close behind us. We were in front of the stairs, when we heard a loud growl, an Alpha growl.

I smirked.

Jenn looked at me terrified. I whispered in her ear before I took a safe distance.

"Called it" I smirked at her, and took my distance.

An tall muscular Alpha male came down the stairs hurried, his eyes a dark brown, his eyes immediately fell on Jenn who did the same, her hazel eyes darkening, she was still nervous.

He slowly went down the stairs, his gaze never leaving Jenn, his eyes held admiration, he looked mesmerised by her appearance.

One thing is sure, He's hella hot.

I know, I know I have a mate but looking at the facts he's more handsome than my nameless mate, of course in my eyes my mate is the most attractive male but being honest.

Meh.

I am just stating facts.

He came to the end of the stairs, walking to Jenn. He finally reached her. He put an arm around her waist, the other reached for her cheek. His hand softly caressed her cheek to then bury it in her dark blonde hair.

"I waited for so long...finally, I can hold you in my arms," his deep voice held nothing but sincerity and affection "Mine" he sighed, then buried his head in her hair breathing in her scent, putting both his arms around her waist.

Jenn was stiff, she flinched when he touched her cheek, luckily he was too busy admiring her to notice, if he does hell is going to break lose.

My mate broke the silence "Alpha, how about we continue in your office, these are the rogues I told you about"

He growled lowly not liking being interrupted, but lastly sighed and gave in. He stepped back, took Jenn's hand and went up the stairs." Jake, bring the other one up"

Jake is his name.

A sexy name for a sexy mate. Dahlia purred.

He made a sign for me to go up the stairs I didn't protest and followed the newly mated couple. I could feel his gaze on me all the way to the office.

Not saying I didn't like that.
