Hello people! Long time no see. Today I got an opportunity to interview another upcoming author from the fan fiction world, the one and only, @Bubbles947, She is the author of Deceit and its sequel Envy right here on Wattpad.

About you:

1. Describe yourself in a sentence or two?

I guess I am rather a perfectionist, I always end up creating something three or four times before I am satisfied with it. Contrary to this I am quite impulsive and make snap decisions that sometimes are perhaps not the best at the time but I would rather go with my gut than ponder a problem.

2. Are you a Wattpad addict?

I wouldn’t consider myself a Wattpad addict but I certainly used to be, I used to be online constantly but now I mainly come online to design and write when I feel like it.

3. Who is your favorite author on Wattpad and which are your favorite Wattpad stories? (could you name at least 5 stories?)

Ah gosh, it would have been very difficult to name just one but now that Ally Carter is on Wattpad it would definitely have to be her, all of her books are amazing.

The people whose books I most often read are@Diagonas@EKShortStories and@Leedbookie; Astoria by Diagonas, Sleep with one eye open by EKShortStories and Simon Says… by Leedbookie.

4. What inspires you to write?

Anything and everything, mostly a dream or an event that has happened and makes me think or moments when I feel extremely happy or extremely sad. I also find myself inspired by movies and books, even artwork.

5. On Wattpad, who are the person you are closest too and why? Could you tell us one sentence about them maybe?

That would have to be Lee @Leedbookie) we became friends almost a year ago and she is my Wattpad twin  I know that I can always tell her when something is bugging me and she will be there for me and when she needs help I would be there for her.

6. How do you feel when you see someone has fanned you and likes your works?

It’s crazy, I still believe that half of what I write is rather bad and needs editing but when people enjoy what I write it’s just a great feeling. I always make sure to take the time to individually thank all of my fans because I really appreciate it.

7. One thing that annoys you about Wattpad?

When it goes under maintenance and I’m writing something then end up losing it all, that is the worst feeling, especially as I often write directly onto Wattpad with no other copies until afterwards.

Your works:

Deceit

1. What inspired you to write Deceit?

I think it was probably because I was reading many Harry Potter fanfictions at the time and their protagonists were often very perfect Gryffindor characters, I wanted to create a character who wasn’t like that and also a character who the reader cannot trust in order to convince them to make their own decisions.

2. Describe your lead Lily in one sentence?

Lily is a stubborn, reflective character who spends so much time trying to find out who she is that she overwhelms herself with her own confusion; other people’s opinions matter far too much to her.

3. Which was the most difficult chapter you wrote for this and how did you overcome it?

I have to say the most difficult for me to write is a chapter that is not posted, a chapter that I wrote ahead of time. It is the very last chapter of the last book and I cried whilst writing it. I tried to use emotion as an advantage though.

4. Did Deceit's popularity ever overwhelm you?

Of course, I never though anyone would read it and I am thankful to everyone who did.

6. When you finished Deceit, how did you feel?

I felt like I had actually achieved something by finishing it, it was a great triumph for me and it was increasingly nice that people enjoyed it and followed it to the end.

7. Was Envy (The sequel to Deceit) planned before hand or was it thought of during or after Deceit?

Initially, the path of Deceit was never really planned and one day a fan messaged me and said “hey can I create a character for your story?” I agreed and it progressed that this character gave me a great deal of inspiration for the story and how the main plot which I had vaguely planned could actually work and the mechanics of the situation. It was quite odd for me as before I even started Envy I knew where it was heading and that it would perhaps be the least important book in the trilogy I plan to write.

8. Lastly, who is your favorite character?

That would be Arielle, she is the main voice of reason but also knows how to have fun.
