Chapter 5; Lies

Johnny's POV:

Kenzie sprinted out the door and I stood their, no movement, not saying anything. Nothing

Why didn't I just tell her I was dating someone instead of lying to her. When she said those words my heart shattered

**flashback**

"It's kenzIE, you used to be able to call me kenz but not anymore, j-just don't talk to me" She says and turn the other way going for the door.

I grab her hand again "Kenzie why are you like this?" I say getting a little mad

"It sucks to be a real backstabbing b***-" She says and turns around facing the door again but She turns back around.

"Oh and when I said don't talk to me, I meant forever....goodbye" She says as a tear drops down her cheek and She runs out. Lauren follows her out.
**End of Flashback**

How could I be so stupid? I need to fix this even if I have to things. It's the least I could do after all I did to her

I turn to Nadia "I-I have to go" I say bouncing up and down a little and running out the door

"What Johnny!!" She yells and stomps her foot

I run out and stop at the door. I turn my head to the left but don't see her so I turn it to the right and see her crouched down in a little ball

I slowly make my way to her "Kenzie?" I say in a soft voice

She wipes her tears with her thumb while looking down. Her legs were folded up to her chest and she was sitting against the wall with my sister

"Johnny I don't want to hear it" she says sniffling

"I know, I know I lied but I didn't want you to get h-" I start to say crouching down to her eye level

She stands up cutting me off. I slowly get up as she does "I didn't want to get hurt either but we knew I would at some point" she says looking down at the side

"Can we please just talk ab-" I say but she cuts me off again

"Goodbye Johnny" she says sniffling and wiping one last year and instead of going back into dance she walks out with Lauren following

Man I screwed up, I lost my best friend.

Also sorry I haven't been posting frequently, I have been practicing for a drama play at my school literally everyday after school and I also have to keep up with my fanfics on my Instagram so sorry if I'm not always posting everyday but I will try my best.
