Jimin sits on the sofa, his head in his hands. Yon and Taehyung are beside him trying to console him. Jae is at the computer doing a bit of research on passports and the Give Back Scheme.

"Did they say how long you’ll have
to be on this thing, love?"

Jimin shakes his head.

"Any joy, Jae?", asks Jon.

"Hmm. It does look like you need one of these certificates."

"God.", says Jimin, desperate.

"What’s it say about how long you
have to do it for till you can get one?"

"Doesn’t say. Oh hang on. “The PDS Give Back Scheme is a nationwide
initiative that...” blahddy, blahddy, blah, “After a period of six months on the enterprise, a PDS Give Back Participant will have his or her case evaluated by a panel of...” Six months. Six months it looks like.", answers Jae.

"Six months?"

"Not that long in the grand scheme
of things.", says Jae.

Jimin looks at his Dad - ‘What does that mean?’

"I mean, time is on your side, son."

"Your dad’s right about that, Chim.", answers Jae with on the bright side.

"And you get to hang out more with your mate Jin.", adds Taehyung, joining in.

"Yes. Very good point, Tae.", says Yon.

"Just have to put up with this loser
(Jae) for a little bit longer."

"That’s not why I wanted to go. I
just - this place, you know.", says sadly Jimin.

"I know, love, I know.", answers Yon.

Doorbell rings. It’s for Taehyung. He puts on his coat.

"Not too late, Tae. It’s a school
night."

Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah."

"When I said “come back soon”. I
didn’t mean immediately, dickhead.", says Taehyung to Jimin.

Jimin cracks a smile. First one for a while.

Taehyung opens the door. Hansol is on the door step waiting for him. Taehyung exits.

Yon inspects Jimin's orange work bib.

"This bloody Victus MP. I hope you
didn’t vote for him, Jae?"

"What? Course I didn’t. I always go
Green, Yon."

Iseul and Namjoon are having their TV dinners.

"Folks aren’t happy about this new
scheme, Namjoon."

"I don’t know mum, I think he’s talking quite a bit of sense."

"How can you say that? A son of mine siding with those flippin’
fanatics."

"He’s not a fanatic. He’s our
elected MP.", sighs Namjoon.

"Doesn’t he have any other
constituents in Roarton Valley?", asks Iseul.

"Well I for one am glad he’s
decided to stick around."

"There are other things in this life
than the greasy pole, Namjoon."

"Like what, mum?"

"I don’t know. Go to college. Meet
new people."

"Not this again.", sighs Namjoon.

"I won’t be around forever, love.
You need to find a nice girl or a nice boy who’ll take care of you. Saying that. Now, don’t get grumpy,
Namjoon..."

"What? Why? What have you done, mum?"

Iseul puts her dinner to one side and gets out her laptop.
Namjoom looks on very worried as Iseul finds the website and
shows Namjoon:
It’s a dating website. There’s a goofy photo of Namjoon up and a fully filled out profile.

"“LoveSickPuppies.co.uk”...?", says Namjoon, reading the banner.

"OH WHAT!", shouts the boy, seeing his photo and profile.

"You’ve been getting quite a few
hits, love. Look, Reese from town
seems very keen. She’s given you
four ‘Puppy Paws’ out of five...."

"Signing me up to a dating site
without telling me!? I’m a councillor now. What are you playin’ at, mum!?", yells Namjoon.
