Always Here For You

"Moana...help...me." Said a voice. "I'm coming!" She shouted. She ran as fast as she could. She came into a clearing. She saw Maui on the ground. "M-ma-maui?" She called out hesitantly. She took a step forward. "Maui?" She asked. She tapped him on the shoulder. "Moana...you're... just... in time..." He said. "In time for what?" She asked. Maui opened his eyes and she gasped. They were all black. "For your death, of course." He smiled wickedly. She screamed.

"Ahhh!!!" She screamed waving her hands in the air. Maui awoke and looked down. "Moana! Wake Up! Princess look at me! Please!" He said. He grasped her shoulders and shook her lightly. Moana woke up and saw the concerned and worried eyes of Maui. "Maui?" She whimpered.

"Yeah, its me, beautiful." He said calmly. She threw herself onto him and embraced him by his neck and started to sob into his shoulder.
"Shhh your okay Moana; your safe." He cooed as he returned the hug.

She started to calm down and took her head out if his shoulder and put her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat. "Hey, I'm right here." He said stroking her head.

"Now- he said putting his hand under her chin and lifted her head up to meet his gaze "What happened to scare you so much to make you thrash out?" He asked with worry and concern in his eyes. She started telling Maui about how she was in a clearing and saw him on the ground. She told him about his eyes and what he told her. Ahh" he said understanding her.

"Hey listen to me." She looked at him. "I will always be here for you. And I would NEVER do anything to harm you. I wouldn't even lay a finger on you!" He said. She smiled. "I love you, Moana." He said pushing her hair behind her ear. She smiled and pressed her cheek against his giant, but gentle hand. He leaned down and gently placed his lips on hers. She sighed contently as she kissed him back.

They pulled back a minute later. She placed her head back in his lap and slowly fell back asleep. He ran his fingers through her hair and slowly fell back asleep. Once in awhile Maui would wake up to check on Moana. Like always she would be smiling, perfectly content. He would smile and plant a kiss on her forehead, before falling back asleep.

Sorry for such a short chapter. I promise this will only be the only one that is short!🙀
