They both barely slept last night, so many thoughts kept running through Philip's mind. As for Eacker, he regretted what he said and his thoughts were troubling him. Eacker sighed, leaning against a wall. He had dark circles under his eyes. Philip looked away, his hands fidgety. He was hesitating, avoiding eye contact. He was slowly walking towards him. Eacker looked over at him, noticing. He waited for him to come over. Philip soon made it, looking up at him. Eacker stood silent, waiting to hear what he wants.

"H-Hello..." Philip greeted.

"Hey..." Eacker had a calm look on his face, either that or just emotionless. He mostly always seems like that.

"....how... are you today?" Philip asked him.

"What do you want, Philip?" Eacker asked him. Philip blinked, a little bit surprised. Eacker usually just calls him Hamilton.

"I just... wondering what's up..." Philip said.

"Why?" Eacker asked.

"....um...." Philip looked away, again.

"......just... curious..." he said.

"You seem troubled." Eacker told him. He wasn't the same. He usually is torturing him. Honestly, he misses that, now.

"You seem troubled, too." Philip looked at him, frowning.

"Don't even worry about it. Stop worrying about me." Eacker said, not caring now. He looked away. Philip nodded, staying there.

"Um... well... what do you... do when I'm not around...?" he asked him.

"Nothing. Literally nothing." Eacker said.

"Well, I find something to do in my dorm, but we barely go into our dorms..." he said. Philip nodded again, not sure what to say or do.

"Why are you still here?" Eacker asked him.

"I'm not even bugging you or hurting you. Go be free." he said. Philip refused to leave, a sad look in his eyes.

"I-......." he didn't know what to say.

"Didn't you want me to leave you alone?" Eacker asked him, looking at Philip.

"I-.... yes-...." Philip didn't know what to think or do anymore.

"Then go already. What do you want from me?" Eacker asked him.

"........" Philip stood by him.

"I don't understand..." Eacker said.

"C-Can I stand by you?" Philip asked him.

"Whatever... I don't care..." Eacker said. Philip nodded, standing there awkwardly.

"... I'm sorry..." he apologized.

"Don't be. God, I could really use a cigarette right now..."
