Today was Philip's birthday, he was planning on visiting his mother and father today since it's been such a long time. That didn't stop him from working on his project with Eacker. No one ever came to his birthday's when he was younger. Only one person. Once. Other than that, it was just his mother and father. The more older you become, the more younger you wish to be; Philip's exact thoughts. He would start on his project, but Eacker didn't seem to be in the college right now. He sat on his chair in front of his studying desk, putting a pencil to his temple. He was thinking about how to save the ocean, again. He wrote down how there were people who needed the water to keep themselves alive. He glanced up at the clock, why couldn't he keep Eacker off of his mind? He sighed, he had so much to do. He couldn't remember who exactly came to his birthday... his vision was a blurr, he wished he'd remember. It seems the more time flies, the more you loose. He lowered is head, staring at the ground, now. He wondered what the future held. Everything happening to the world they're in was truly blood-chilling. He was just a young, lost poet. Life and death. Right now, that's the only poems he could think of writing. He looked back at the project, beginning to write, again. He was wasting time thinking. Though, you know what would help him the most? If Eacker was actually here helping him with the project!

"Dammit, George... where the hell did you go?" he whispered to himself, why, though? Not like questioning it will make Eacker magically appear; or will it? Hah, Philip wishes. He started to bite his pencil, a habit he couldn't seem to get rid of. Eacker would question it, but shrug it off. He had the same habit. He would catch Eacker chewing on the same pencil Philip chewed on... it kind of creeped Philip out. He could of chewed on any other pencil, but it had to be Philip's. He sighed in frustration, there he went again! Why couldn't he stop thinking about Eacker?! There was a knock on Philip's door, he lifted his head up, looking over at the door. If that wasn't Eacker, he swore. He put his pencil down, standing up and walked over to the door. He opened it. Eacker kept his emotionless face. He always had that face, he looked mostly irritated than emotionless. Philip looked down at the light-blue frosted cupcakes.

"Hey, happy birthday, Philip." Eacker smiled. Wow. Eacker really never smiles. Philip felt his heart... change in some way. He looked back at Eacker, touched.

"Y-You... remembered...?" he smiled warmly.

"Well, yeah. Hahah..." a light-pink blush spread across Eacker's cheeks. Philip remembered now. Ah, yes. His vision was clear, now. It was Eacker that came to his birthday that one day.
