The Bad Bad World [Klance AU] [DISCONTINUED]

ANNOUNCEMENT

     Thank you all so, so much for reading and leaving your encouraging comments!  I read every one of them and I really do appreciate them.  I'm sorry this isn't a new chapter, but I do have an important announcement to make.
     Part of the reason I've had such a hard time updating TBBW is because it's kind of stuck and I'm having trouble finding where to take it.  For this reason, I've decided to completely edit/rewrite this!  The plot will stay mostly the same, but this time, I'm going to put in more of an effort to keep it organized and keep the story flowing.  I will also be doing a general edit, so I'd really appreciate that if you notice any mistakes that you comment on them like some of you have already done. I hope you'll all stick around to read the new story!
     Additionally, as I edit and rewrite it, I will be moving it to AO3, where it will be uploaded all shiny and new chapter by chapter.  My account is etrangeres.  There isn't anything klance on there yet, but I'd appreciate it if you go ahead and subscribe to me there so you can get updates as TBBW comes out. 
     The first chapter of the new version will be uploaded on AO3 on 1 July 2017.
     Thanks so much for sticking around!  And as a little gift, here's a small bit about Keith's parents (how I imagined them, anyway) that I wrote a while back.
     Keith's parents had been madly in love since the start, all the way back when they met in high school.  His mother was young and beautiful, not one with many close friends, but someone that everyone loved.  His father was a total oddball just like Keith himself, a stuttering mess of unkempt black hair.  Somehow, out of all the men who chased after his mother, his father won her heart.  They were so happy.  Their parents were happy for them.  They danced and sang together, they did everything together, they were always together. 
     But his mother grew frail.  His father grew harsh.  He hides everything inside him but his dry and detached attitude.  The light in his deep eyes dimmed.  But though his mother's once strong voice continued to grow frail, she stayed so caring all the way up to her last days.  It hurts Keith to think about it.  So he tries not to.
