Riding the School Bus as a Teenager

I absolutely hate riding the bus. But, there are some pros and cons to this.

Pros:

1)You don't have to pay for gas or an entrance fee.

2)You have some time for deep thoughts.

3)You can listen to your music for a little bit.

4)You may or may not be able to sleep in. (Most beautiful words a teen could hear)

5)I ran out of ideas here.

Cons:

1)The loud and annoying little kids.

2)The know-it-all, annoying pre-teens (middle schoolers).

3)When the bus is crowded and you can't sit alone.

4)Sitting on the inside when you need to get off the bus.

5)The bus driver may be a hard butt or not.

6)The thought of going to school, while on a school bus.

7)Just riding a school bus in general.

8)The ride can be very bumpy, (mostly girls will understand this one). Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy.

9)Perverts on the bus, (hormonal guys/girls).

10)Not being able to do anything but sit there and listen to useless conversations.

We have all had our bad days, but if you ride a bus, just remember not to tell any annoying kid to "SHUT UP!". Bad idea, it leads to maybe getting in trouble, unwanted attention, etc.

Yes, I told a know-it-all, bitchy, ELEMENTARY STUDENT, to shut up and get out of my way in a very non respectful way. In my defense, the kid was laying across two seats in the isle and we couldn't get through. I was being sarcastic and said, "Oh, legs. How wonderful." Then the kid decided to get hissy with me and told me I could have said excuse me, but I didn't.

You wanna know why? You really wanna know why? BECAUSE WHEN PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO GET THROUGH THE ISLE ON A BUS BEFORE THE BUS DRIVER STARTS DRIVING AND BEFORE WE ALL SIT DOWN, IT SHOULD BE COMMON SENSE FOR A BITCHY LITTLE KID TO MOVE THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY!

But no...nothing but a bad attitude and I had enough of people that day. Whatever though, what can I do. She decided that she wasn't afraid to "beat my ass". Yes, the kid said that. Please, all I have to do is sit on you and bam, I won. I don't care if you hit or scratch the heck out of me, I will win. Because I was in a bitchy mood and you were pissing me off.

I'm very, very sorry for telling you this story. I'm not still mad at the kid, I'm mad at my mother for taking the kids side. That pissed me off. That was a very moody week for me.

Back to the topic, the cons outweigh the pros, but when it comes down to it, you probably don't have a choice. If you do, why are you riding the bus?

I hope you liked that...bye bye.
