The Triggering

Four events.

Eva Todd was a lot of things. She was a psycho, a sadist, a domestic woman and very controlling. Though she was all of the above she was no murderer. She had so far had four events happen where she could of killed. All though in one way or another something had happened, something that had made her be able to say that she was indeed, no murderer. 

The first event happened when she was just six years old, she was in the back yard playing with one of her dolls when something bit her. She looked down only to find a mouse sitting by her foot. The mouse looked at her with big, kind eyes. She took a grip of it's tail and lifted it up. She started to spin it in the air, up and down, making the mouse squeak in fear. She laughed as she kept going. Then from behind the house she heard the neighbor's cat meowing. She held the mouse in her hand as she walked towards the cat whom was sitting by an apple tree. She smiled as she showed the cat the mouse. She placed the mouse in the tree and watched as the cat started climbing. She looked at the cat, he was so excited and he looked hungry. The mouse squeaked loudly, trying to find a way down from the tree. The cat got closer and closer, Eva laughed. From inside her house her mother called. Eva took down the mouse from the tree, she placed it in her hand and looked it in the eyes. 

"You were lucky this time. I don't want you biting my foot again, okay? If you are naughty you get punished that's how it works." 

The mouse looked at her, it's body was vibrating in Eva's hand. She walked up to her house but before she walked in she put the mouse down and watched as it ran into the woods. She smiled. 

"Stupid mouse." 

The second event happened when Eva had been with Richard for several years. All she wanted was a daughter but Richard told her that he wanted some more time with her. He said that they weren't ready for that kind of a responsibility. He wanted her and he wanted the sex, but he did not want the "consequences" that came with not wearing a condom. Eva felt the rage coming, she turned around in the bed but Richard gently turned her back. He smiled as he stroked her cheek. 

"Oh sweetheart, Neither you or I are ready for a baby. I mean look at you, you're acting like a child. How can you have a child when you are a child, hm? " 

He placed his hand on her thigh, moving his hand upwards. Eva quickly removed his hand, she looked him in the eyes and slowly said: 

"I will have my way,I always do. One way or another I'll have a daughter." 

Richard sighed. He looked at Eva, raised his eyebrows and said:

"As I said, how can a child have a child?" 

He turned around and turned off the lights, within a few minutes he was snoring, loudly. Eva was laying in bed, looking up at the celling. No one was going to treat her like that. She is a lady, a lady of grace and should be treated like nothing less. When she said that she wanted something her husband should be glad to do it for her just to see her smile. Why did he not want a daughter with her? Eva was beautiful and she knew it. Her green eyes, her blonde hair, her perfectly shaped lips and her cheekbones could make any man faint. She had chosen Richard and he should be honored to have a daughter with her. She looked at him, he had an ugly smirk on his lips as he laid there, snoring. She sat up, took a pillow and gently placed it over his face. She took a deep breath as she got ready to kill her husband when she felt something. Something was happening, she felt nauseous so she quickly got up and ran into the bathroom where she started vomiting. What she didn't know then was that she was pregnant, with Jasper. Jasper had, even before he was born done something stupid. He had saved his father's life by making his mother sick. 

After finding out that she was actually pregnant Eva changed completely. She became the perfect wife. Dinner was always ready and Richards shirts were always ironed. She was always happy and always in serve mode. They would have the most perfect, little girl and they'd live the most wonderful life. All of Eva's dreams got shattered the say that Jasper was born.
