Last year of Highschool and I still don't know what I want to do with my life... i mean I've always been passionate about singing and dancing so I thought about being an idol I just never had the courage to do so. My brother Mingyu of SEVENTEEN... he made it. He tried to encourage me, I think he knew I was thinking about trying out but I chickened out and never showed up. I got too nervous...

My alarm goes off blaring FIRE by BTS, this song makes me want to get up and dance... and that's just what I do! So I guess it works... "SEOMI COME ON, YOU PROMISED YOU'D DO ME A FAVOUR AT SCHOOL TODAY!" My brother Mingyu shouts up the stairs... oh, that's right, I promised him a favour. When I asked what the favour was he just changed the subject... did he not want to tell me... it made me want to back out, but a promise is a promise! "ALL RIGHT COMING, JUST A SECOND GIRAFFE!" I giggled a little at my pet name for him. It was fitting as he was soooooo tall compared to me. I mean he's 185cm that's 6, 1 in feet... and well... I'm the shortest in the family, I'm 160cm so I'm just shorter than Woozi. "STOP CALLING ME THAT AND HURRY UP!" I could practically sense him pouting. "THEN STOP CALLING ME INVISIBLE I'M NOT THAT SHORT AND I'M NEARLY READY!"

We arrive at school and Mingyu instantly starts dragging me towards the hall. When we enter, he still has hold of my arm, but there's what looks to be a lot of girls, spotlights set up and a-a, a JUDGES TABLE! I should of known he'd try this. YG were having a girl group audition. They were travelling to high schools all around to find 'hidden gems',as they put it. They basically wanted to try something different and going to schools themselves to find new trainees to possibly debut in the next girl group was their way of doing that.

"Mingyu! I should have known you'd try this. I won't do it!"
"Oh come on, please, I know you have stage fright, but maybe this will how you get over your fear... I've seen you sing and dance in front of people before. At first your scared and that's okay, but once you get into the song your always amazing. I know you can do it... and I know this is what you want to do."
"Fine... but if I embarrass myself your to blame!"
"Okay, okay, okay! Also... your welcome I brought you near the end so you'd miss most of the others, you know... so you don't get to nervous!" He was smiling, he was so proud of himself... I'd feel bad if I let him down...
"Okay... thank you, really."
"I think your on soon, I picked your song... don't worry you'll know it! Go, go, go. Go wait for your turn!" I turn away from my brother, he was smiling and waving eagerly, obviously excited! And I won't deny it... I am too. I climb the stage stairs and wait in the wings, seeing the contestant list I was last and also next! I hope Mingyu picked a song I know... I'm sure he did. I have to dance and sing to it, I love doing that... so I should be fine yeah! "Kim Seo Mi!" Oh crap, they're calling me. Ok deep breathes, deep breathes. I walk onto the stage towards the mic...
