"Laila Olivia Cross, would you go on a date with me." Jace says walking into my room as I'm in bed.
"About time, obviously." I say trying not to scream on top on my lungs with excitement. He hands me the roses and I smile.
"Good, that would've been really embarrassing." He says smiling with the most rosiest cheeks ever.
"Is your mother here?" I ask.
"Yeah she's down stairs but I toke my own car she'll stay here all night." He says.
"And what's so wrong about that?" I say jokingly as we both go down stairs to put my flowers in the vase.
"Nothing's wrong with that it's just I'm a little scared of your father and I have to work." He says while following me.
"Seriously Jace, you've been in the family for like ever he loves you." I say then I rethink it.
"Not that your family cause that'd be weird, ok I'll shut up." I say just rambling.
"You're so cute but I gotta be at work at 10am. Date tomorrow at 8?" He asks walking close to me to give me a hug. I put my arms around his neck and give him a long hug.
"Sounds good butthead." I say kissing his cheek.
"You missed my lips." He jokes.
"You wish." I say as his mother and my mother walk in and are confused.
"Leaving for work, bye." He says leaving soon as possible.
"Going to Nova's bye." I say walking out. I go to my room and get dressed and put my hair in a messy bun. I grab my converse and purse then leave. I get into my car get my keys and sunglasses from my purse, start the car and head to Nova's.
Arriving at Nova's she's outside with her two dogs and big brother Nathan. Sitting on the porch. Her brother whistles for the dogs because their jumping all over me.
"Thanks dude." I say.
"Anytime." He says.
"Nova, Jace finally asked me out he's picking me up at 8 tomorrow night." I say smiling and I can't stop.
"Awww so cute, now lets talk about Conner." She says.
"My brother that's sixteen Nova." I say.
"So he looks nineteen Laila." She says.
"Whatever, as long as you don't hurt my little bro I'm fine with it." I say as we go to her room and decide to go to the lake down the road. We swim for about 2 hours and then get hungry so we go back to her house and make salads.
"Can we go to your house?" She asks.
"Sure." I say laughing because I know she just wants to see Conner. We finish up eating and go to my house where Carla, Jace's mother and my mother are. Which is still awkward to me.
"Hi Carla, and Jada." Nova says running up stairs and me following.
"Hi." Nova says walking by Conners room.
"Hey Nova come here really quick." He says.
"Can I talk to her really quick?" He asks me.
"Sure thing." I say going to my room and he shuts his door. I just hear laughing. She comes out 5 minutes later with roses cheeks.
"What happened?" I asked.
"He asked me out." She says.
"Oh my goodness, yay!" I say
