The Meeting Of Two Races

Not being able to see Piper today was the equivalent of all the oxygen begin sucked from my lungs. I had a small urge to turn around and go back for her. I bet that stupid Sophia was bothering her. I don't know why I ended up hooking up with her. I didn't even like her all that much. I guess I just wanted to see how a human would be in a relationship.

In are wolf forms it didn't take more than a couple hours to arrive at the rondevo point. Obviously Lucien and Sadie had to attend this trip. Me and four other wolves came along. Hagan was one of those. He may not be the strongest wolf in the pack but he's smart, he's a good negotiator and he might as well be one of the pack doctors.

Once we stopped, shifted and got dressed we entered the meeting spot, which was just an open rocky area. We weren't the first ones to arrive and not the last.

Most of the packs were here but I didn't see or smell any of the covens. Perhaps they thought we'd kill them if they weren't together. Not saying that they couldn't do any damage alone because I've been hurt in a fight one on one against a vampire. I won the fight but I was hurried to the pack infirmary. If a vampire bight isn't talking care of immediately, the venom could be fatal.

All of the packs were here. Even the pack from Africa. Their wolves aren't as muscular as ours but they were defiantly taller. Their alpha is said to have killed off a rival pack all by himself. I think that's total bull shit but every pack has it's rumors.

"It's good to see you again," a familiar person said behind me. I turned to see Ashlyn Bale. She's a member of the pack in Antarctica. I met her when I went training with them over my summer.

"You and your pack look good," I told her as they all began to migrate over to us. "We can thank Kain for that. He keeps us busy," she said. As are packs greeted each other. A foul smell fell over the clearing. The vampires had arrived.

Me and every other werewolf out here got with their pack and got ready. As I scanned around looking for anything that looked remotely human I spotted something coming towards us in the distance. As I strained to see who or what it was anger build up inside of me as I spotted him.

It was Cyrus and his coven. It was only them. There were only five of them. There was Dianna, the head of their coven. She had short black hair, pale white skin and the same colored eyes that Cyrus had. There was Chalace, he was the the second strongest in their coven. He had short black hair that he kept combed backwards, pale skin and those same eyes.

Then there were the two twins, Tyler and Taylor. Tyler had his light brown hair cut into a buzzcut and he's even more muscular than I am. When it came to bruit strength, he had everyone beat. Taylor looked exactly like him only she wasn't muscular and her light brown hair almost hung down to her waist.

"Where's the others?" Lucien asked Dianna as they all came over. "We don't know. We're the only ones that showed up," she answered as all of the packs around us got confused. "Didn't they know about the meeting?!" I asked. Most times if I would have spoke out like that, Lucien would have tossed me a snarl but since almost half of the members that are supposed to be here aren't here, he decided not to.

"What do we do?" someone from another pack asked. "Should we leave?" I asked Lucien. "You can't leave. We have a situation to discuss!" someone suddenly said. Me and everyone else turned to the voice.

It was Daxis, and he had his coven with him. Daxis is bald, he has blood red eyes from drinking the blood of humans and he's as pale as they get. Daxis is one of the oldest vampires alive, making him very wise and also very powerful. He's not like Cyrus and his coven. Daxis still goes by the old ways when vampires and werewolves were enemies. He tries to fool us and make us believe that he wants to make peace but if you ask me, I think he was the one that was trying to kill me and Lucien. I always get a bad feeling whenever I'm around him.
