Chapter 4

Paige P.O.V.

We just got back from the last day of Magcon, and it was amazing! We all decided to go play some basketball on the court that was apart of the hotel. We all play basketball for like 2 or 3 teams and we're really good not to brag. We got dressed in regular basketball clothes which usually consisted of t shirts, basketball shorts, Nike elite socks, and the latest basketball sneakers.

We basically just shot around and dribbled, then ran some drills and played games of two on two. That's when we got interrupted by a group of boys, none other than the Magcon boys. "You guys are pretty good." We all replied with thanks. We decided to play a game of shirts vs skins, us girls obviously being shirts along with carter and Matt. We decided both teams would have substitutions since there were 13 of us.

Jen P.O.V.

The game was going pretty well. Paige has made some good assists along with crossing up Jack g and going to the basket. Me and the other girls have had already made like 4 3 pointers. We ended up winning 24-20. Matt and carter did better than I expected. We all said our goodbyes and headed back to our room. Me and the girls decided to go to pool to cool off and got dressed in our bikinis. I was never very comfortable with my body, especially because my best friends were beautiful and skinny. I mean I wasn't skinny but I wasn't fat. I was fit from playing basketball but I was no supermodel. I still wore a bikini because I need to be more confident with myself. We grabbed our room key and phones and headed to the pool. The girls automatically jumped in while I decided to sit down and relax and go on my phone. I didn't think my life could get any better because that's when the boys joined us. "Are you following us?" I said jokingly to Shawn as he sat down next to me. "Maybe we are." He said with a wink. That's when he took my towel that was covering me body and picked me up and started walking towards the pool. "OH MY GOSH SHAWN PUT ME DOWN NOW! IM TOO HEAVY FOR YOU TO BE CARRYING ME!" I said. "Oh stop no you're not." He replied, and within seconds, I felt myself in the air then plunge under water with Shawn. I came back up and surfaced for air. I couldn't help but smile as Shawn had this smirk on his face. We just swam around and then I decided to go sit on the edge of the pool and watch everyone else. Then, Shawn swam over and stood in the water between my legs as I sat on the edge of the pool. "Hello." He said while poking my nose. "Haha hi Shawn." We talked the rest of the time and I got to know him on a more personal level. That's when he caught me off guard with his question, "would you like to go out with me tonight?" I of course replied with a yes and he said he would pick me up from my room at 8:00. We then exchanged numbers and said goodbye as I went upstairs to get ready for my date.

Kylie P.O.V.

All of us listened to Jen freak out about her date tonight with Shawn. Then I got a text from Nash asking if me and Becca and Paige wanted to hang with the rest of the boys since Jen and Shawn were going out. We all said yeah and took turns taking showers and getting ready. I decided to straighten my hair and put on mascara with some yoga leggings and a Victoria's Secret pullover sweatshirt. Then I threw on some black vans.

Jen P.O.V.

I'm excited to go on my date with Shawn. I'm really though because I don't know what to wear, so I decided to text him.

To Shawn😍: what should I wear tonight?

From Shawn: something casual like a dress :)

To Shawn: okay thanks :) see ya in little bit

From Shawn: okay bye babe

Yup I definitely melt when he calls me babe. I decided to wear a purple floral dress with white sandals. I curled my hair and left it down. For makeup I just put on mascara and eyeliner you couldn't really see. I felt like going natural for the night. It was now 7:45 so I had 15 minutes to spare.

"How do I like? Is this okay? Too much? I should chan-" I was cut off by my friends "you look so pretty! Shawn won't be able to take his eyes off of you!" My friends are so sweet. We were talking and trying to guess where Shawn and I were gonna go when we heard a knock at the door. I stood up and opened the door, and there stood Shawn looking very handsome in khakis, black and white flannel, and black vans. "Hi Shawn!" I said, I was really nervous and butterflies where going crazy in my stomach. "Hey Jennifer. You look beautiful." I couldn't help but smile, he's the sweetest person ever! We left and said goodbye to the girls. We got in his car and started driving. (I know Shawn is 15, but in this story I'm making him 17.) "Where are we going?" I asked. "It's a surprise." He said with a smirk. I don't mind surprises, so this should be fun.
