My fingers danced over the call button. There was a sickening feeling of uneasiness growing in the pit of my stomach. I know Robert told me not to call Kellin but I was running out options. So Scarlett had gone completely AWOL! Robert has gone galavanting off and is god knows where... What am I supposed to do here? It's the impossible situation of where no matter what you do someone will get hurt. I rapidly put the phone up to my ear before I changed my mind. Every ring was excruciating and the uneasiness was mixing with guilt.
"Hello?" A woman's soft voice silenced the tension."Um hi, is this the Kings Bridge 2 Ward?"
"Yes it is. How can I help you?"
"Can I speak to Kellin Evans please it's and emergency!" I tried to remain calm. "One moment please."
"Thanks." I now had my head against the wall and was on my knees.
"Robert?" His hoarse voice trailed down the phone.
"No it's Molly!"
"Hey Molly what's wrong?"
I felt my insides twisting. "It's Scarlett..."
"Where is she she? What's wrong?!"
"Kellin, I may be wrong so don't panic..."
"Molly for Christ sake tell me what's happened!"
"I think she's in danger."
