No. That was not possible.

I remember him telling about a girl.

Suddenly the door opened to reveal Melissa with his little son who hurriedly ran towards Jack and jumped in his arms.

Whoa!!

Jack put an arm on her shoulder and carried her son on the other.

"Tonight I am getting engaged to this beautiful lady." He said and Melissa gave a shy smile.

Everyone was shocked.

"Whoa! I can't believe it." Dave said.

"Congratulations!" Ben hugged Melissa.

I too went to them and hugged both of them.

Everyone greeted them and atlast James came infront of them and hugged Melissa.

"I am happy for you." He kissed her head.

"She is like my sister and I hope you keep her safe." James said looking at Jack who was looking nervous.

James patted his shoulder and hugged him.

Now James has no reason to do anything.

We all had our dinner and then we said our goodbyes.

We both were silent through the whole ride to the home.

He parked the car and we both went to his private elevator.

As soon as first floor came I felt relief that he would be out but he was not planning to went out and he hit the second floor.

I went out of the elevator and started walking towards my room.

I felt him walking beside me. Soon he was walking ahead of me.

He opened my door and waited for me.

I was about to enter when he blocked my way by his hand.

"I'm sorry." He said looking into my eyes.

Did he really said sorry?

Should I ask him again?

No.. i don't think that's a good idea.

I nodded and tried to enter but he didn't remove his hands.

"I didn't do it intentionally. I was not thinking."

What?

"Put some cream on it..." He said nervously referring to my arm.

I nodded and finally he removed his hand.

I saw him walking back to the elevator.

He is really a confused person.

I think I should behave sincerely with him.

I should stop behaving like a stubborn woman and instead I should handle him in a mature manner.

But was I not behaving like a mature one till now?

I don't think he will ever change.

I was unable to sleep that night. I heard the message tone in my phone.
