that flighty individual who lives with little
not a lot to pack before drifting the urban plane
that person who promised to never be unhappy again
for this person belived "my graritude will guide and look after me"
a wish for money easily granted
a penny is an easy find
dissmissed, tossed, left behind
people looked on at the penny picker, but he didn't mind
"look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves"
like knowledge of the past collecting to make one wise
the pennies combined to currency plenty
pound that didn't weigh down too heavy
little appeal to others perhaps not so thrifty
"got to pick a penny or two" was his twisted thought
apretiate one mans loss is another mans gain
though no threft was required in order to attain
"one mans trash is another mans treasure"
a lite and simple life that kept him satisfied forever
