"You could've told me that you were a mute" I sighed as I sat next to him, throwing rocks into the small puddle. But he's a mute, he can't talk you dumb head...

I decided to skip school today because I don't belong there, I don't belong anywhere. Mum's gone to work so I'm hanging with the mute now because why not, I need company and so does he.

"You know how to write and read though right?" I asked and he slowly nodded, starring at the dirt beneath our feet.

"Write your name" I said handing him a stick from the branch of the tree. He took it and started writing.
