Stay Here Anyway

I want to thank everyone who has read this. I'm so glad I've been able to share so far what I see through my eyes into your reign of knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to think. Think of what could be, has been, or is. My heart cannot describe what my soul feels, for they are so different, and yet they join into one when I let my thoughts wander onto a piece of white. So I applaud you, and you should know, even if you've heard it before, that life is an event with endless possibilities, not a limit. So go out and do your part, the same way you want to live. Thank you again, for reading and thinking.

This poem is another about our world. Not much explaining needed.

Stay Here Anyway

The world was natural to begin with.

No factories, no structures, no made up plastic.

Forests were full, and the arctic content...

What will happen to our world is tragic.

Change, they say is good

If the change is for the better,

But all I see are mistakes

The truth can no longer cover.

Tell me now, what happens to those animals

Who've lost their home and food.

And all because we wanted

All the riches and the goods.

Tell me now who's to blame,

When there's no more water in the lakes,

When the rivers have gone dry,

See what destruction we can make?

Tell me now what you will do,

When there's no more land for you to live,

When the dessert heat is too much to bear,

What more will our world give?

Stupid, you say.

It doesn't care.

It'll survive,

All on its own.

Unlimited,

Indestructible.

Yet you wish to stay,

Anyway.
