Right Here, Love

Hey guys! I know, it's been a while :p Sorry for that, but without further ado, here is the next poem. ;)

Often, we think ourselves not good enough. That we will never be and think we have to change. Well of course that's not the case. Losing your own identity for someone else is something that we might think about. So we put these things on, to cover our insecurities. You should know that you're not alone. Books, tv shows, magazines, plays, they all have shown someone, lost within their self. And everyone has gone through the same thing. Millions. So when next time you feel at lost with yourself, close your eyes and just know that you are indeed not alone. (P.S. I just really love this poem :)

Right Here, Love

Hidden behind that veil of identity,

You shower love into the mirror,

Applying, applying, and re-applying.

Who are you now when you finish your task?

You were beautiful before that mask.

*~*~*~*

I loved you then, when you called your chickens and hens.

When you got dirty, and not flirty,

And walked until the road bends.

Together you and I, stared for hours at the sky,

Making wishes and each telling a surprise...

I miss that you. This you is not you.

Why do you have the need to prove,

For whatever you think you have to do?

I know you feel left out,

And think you've none to your taking,

But I'm right here, love,

For whenever you feel like you're shaking.
