A Shy girl.

Eyes on her as she walked past by

A smile on her face, warming inside

Her hair swifted, her bangs covered her eyes

Blending with crowd, but wearing bright colors

Peacock, a favorite bird, resembles as one

One by one, standing out consistently

Avoiding it, still, she is finding her way

Getting out of others way, slowly, voice growing

They tell her to speak louder, only choice was to be brave

Sitting a bit taller, shoulders relaxed, a smile on face, a voice

Admitting she doesn' t know, saying what she does

Words come out like confetti, and fill the room with laughter

Easing along, she laughs, and a grin appears, bigger

"You can't hide it," some say, "you are amazing"

Her face stays behind the book, and her eyes twinkle

Words come out not as she expected, only few

One by one, growing

Step by step, finding

Humbly holding on to the book

She looks for silence

Thinks and plans there

Comes out, and again, she smiles

She will get there soon

She will get there soon
