  He looks at me in the eye. I feel like melting right away, but my heart starts beating faster. Will he tell me to leave? Probably.

  "Um I... I... I should... I guess I have some work... I should go" I stammer. I stand and walk towards the door without looking back. It's better to leave on my own than leave after he asks me too.

  I near the door and place my hand on the door knob.

  "Bess" He whispers. "I'll drop you"

  "No it's okay" I refuse. I don't want to embarrass myself anymore.

  "Come" He says and goes out.

  I stand still. My hands nor my legs are able to move.

  I can't believe I said that! I've never liked someone so much ever before. Wonder what he's thinking right now. I bet he would've kicked me out if I weren't the princess.

  I hear him honk so I close the door and walk towards his car. I feel so nervous, I don't want to get in, It'll be so awkward. But I don't want to irritate him anymore so I open the door and quietly get in near him.

  He looks at me for a second, then switches the gear and starts driving towards the woods.

  Alex picks his phone and presses it against his ear. "Hello?" After a second he replies. "Yea, she's here with me. We're on our way back. Okay bye"

  "Who's that?" I ask.

  "Aiden" He replies tonelessly.

  5 awkward minutes later, we finally reach. The trip was so... quiet. Like literally, none of us opened our mouths. I could feel the tension in the car. Alex must be controlling his anger.

  I must say thank you and leave right now. "Thank you for the ride and umm... sorry"

  He doesn't say anything. I knew it. I get out of the car and close the door. I shouldn't have gone to his house in the first place. I wanted him to love me, but now I made him hate me. Am I the only person going through so much trouble? I didn't do anything to deserve this. I start walking towards my house.

  Suddenly, a firm hand takes hold of my arm. I turn around and see Alex standing inches away from me. His face so close to mine. I realize that his eyes look brown from afar but close up they look a little blue-ish. In some lights, they look olive green, and when his hair is light they look almost black.

  One of his hands slides in around my waist and the other reaches out to cup my cheeks. His touch sends shocks through my body. He stares at my eyes making my heart beat faster than ever before. 

  "Apology accepted" He whispers and brings his face closer. 

  "Bess? When did you return?"

  Alex and I move away from each other, startled. I look around to see who said that.

  "Few seconds ago" I say to Aiden.
