Exit Wounds | The Script

For the First Time

Mark just looks at Danny. "Dan what the fuck?"  

Danny's enthusiastic smile gradually fades down to a confused face and I feel sorry for him but angry too. Why did you being me here? I could have just stayed at the flat and waited for you to come back! But I don't say that of course.  

"What do you mean?" Danny asks Mark. 

"Dan we've got a busy day today and you knew that. We've got three songs to record as well as going over those harmonies we mentioned yesterday and the new guitar chords that we forgot about. We are busy people and we can't afford to let out fans down. You can't just bring a random flatmate who we've never seen before to the studio, and expect us to cooperate with that? It's not exactly fair Dan!" Marks voice raises and it is stained with anger. "Any other time would be fine, but not in the recording studio when we've got a busy day ahead of us!" 

"Mark cal-" Danny starts. 

"Dan you kind of have to admit that it is a bit stupid of you.." Glen says quietly trying to settle the dispute.  

I look from Dan to Mark to Glen with horror. What am I doing here? I don't want to get in the way! 

"I'm really sorry... Ill go its fine honestly! I really shouldn't have come, it's unfair to interrupt your practices." I tell the three of them.  

Danny's face turn pinky red and he looks really angry.  

"NO! Mark what is your problem?" 

"Dan just leave it, I honestly don't mind going!" I anxiously tell him. 

"Williow I want you to stay here," Dan spaces out his words and I put my hands up in surrender.  

Danny then turns to Mark.  

"MARK WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? SHE'S NOT GOING TO GET IN THE WAY OF THINGS?!" Dan roars at Mark and I look down at my feet. 

"Oh my Christ. Can't you understand? I don't have anything against her but I want just a day of recording not a day of lazing about doing nothing!" Mark argues, his voice turning icier by the second.  

"For fucks sake." Danny spits 

"THAT'S IT. IV HAD ENOUGH OF THIS. IM GOING!." With that Mark grabs his jacket and walks out of the room. 

"You coulda backed me up Glen." Danny turns to him. 

"Start on me now won't you?!" Glen shouts.  

"Dan you're bang out of order on this." Glen mutters and rushes off to follow Mark.

I hadn't realised it but when I reach my hand up to touch my face, I feel the wetness of my salty tears on my cheeks. I look at Dan and he looks like he's going to cry.  

"It's my fault," I tell him weakly. 

Dan looks down at me, his eyes are huge pits of worry and creases have appeared on his forehead which weren't there this morning.  

"No it's not," he says quietly. 

"It is and you know it." I say, this time a little louder. "I'm so sorry." 

I look down at my feet and begin to cry and Dan guides me to the sofa and we sit down.  

"I'm so sorry Dan, after everything you've done for me, and I just ruin your recording day with the guys!" My shoulders heave and I hunch up hiding my face from Danny behind my thick curtain of hair.  

I suddenly feel someone gently lifting my chin and brushing my hair aside. Danny tenderly wipes his finger under my eyes, wiping away my worries. I look at him wide-eyed and he leans closer to me so that our faces are almost touching.  

"Hey hey," he says soothingly. "Nothing's your fault. Nothing at all."  

"Why are you so kind?" I ask him whisper looking into his chocolate brown eyes which melt my heart. 

"How could I not be when im with you?." Dan smiles and he pulls me into a crushing hug and we stay like that for ages until my insides have turned warm again.

Hey hey HEY! Omg thanks so much for the 120 reads! I screamed when my book got to 100 and I was in school and everyone looked at me like "what the hell?!" And I was like "I GOT 120 FLIPPING READS!!!!" They just rolled their eyes. Aw😔 anyways first things first, I HAVE A REASON FOR WHY I DIDN'T UPDATE ON FRIDAY NIGHT PEOPLE! Basically I left my iPod at school on Friday so I couldn't type the next chapter and mum wouldn't let me use the computer for it aghrdcossosifdisnaoxnso-_- that annoyed me so bad. I was just like 😩 yep. I missed my iPod so much! I missed flappy bird too! I'm so addicted to it at the moment hahahaha anyone got a good highscore?! 

Secondly thankyou so much AGAIN to my homie @aWonderer! You're amazing gurllll;) everyone go check her books out they are beyond amazeballs!  

Thirdly, script update!!!! Who's excited for the fourth album? MEEEEEEEEEEEE !! I'm the most excited person on earth for it yayayayayayaayya. In a really crazy mood at the moment because iv been siting down all day doing mocks. It's was horrible :'( the papers were ok though today. WHO SAW TAYLOR SWIFT AND DANNY SING BREAKEVEN? IT WAS AMAZING AND I CRIED WITH HAPPINESS WHEN I SAW THE VIDEO OF IT OMGGGGG I LOOOVVEEE THEM SO SO BAD.  

Anyways back to the story.. What did everyone think? What do you think should happen now?
