Step One

I woke up feeling like a feather. I wasn't sure if it was because of the chamomile tea I drank or my peaceful 10 hour sleep. Or it was because of my strong drive to take a step forward?

Whatever might be the reason I was content. I was gloomy and tired for the past weeks and this feeling was strange but delightful.

Even Sofia took notice of my mood, "Ganda ng gising natin ah."

"Mas gumanda ba ako today?" I wiggled my brows.

Natawa ito nang mahina, "Heh, ke aga-aga gusto mong lokohin sarili mo."

"Just feed my ego, Sof." I said as I tugged on her shirt.

"Oo na. Oo na. Ang fresh mo ngayon." pagsuko niya.

I cheered in glee. Ewan ko, pero kahit sa maliliit na bagay tulad nito napapasaya ako. Kelan ba ako naging ganito kababaw?

Matapos ang aming utuan sesh ay ipinaalam sa akin ni Sofia ang aking schedule. Half of the day will be spent for photoshoot and the rest will be for recording.

Nash and I will be having our own rendition of our series' themesong. Magkakaroon din kami ng kanta namin para sa album ng serye.

Hindi nagtagal ay narating na namin ang ABS. Inihatid kami ng isang staff sa aking dressing room. Inumpisahan na akong ayusan ni Sofia habang abala naman ako sa aking telepono.

I checked social media and was happy to know that my fans are excited for our series. Nagpatrend pa sila upang ipaalam sa buong mundo na ang loveteam na matagal na nilang hinihintay ay nandirito na.

I was about to put my phone down when I received a message.

Donny

Can't wait to see you today. Heard you're doing well.

My lip raised after reading his text. Naubo naman si Sofia sa aking likuran. Nabasa siguro niya ang mensahe ni Donny sa akin.

"Textmosa!" I remarked.

"Kasalanan ko bang nakikita ko yang selpon mo!" depensa niya.

"Ay ganun, so that makes you think it's okay to pry on others' conversation?" I rebutted.

"Tangina Sharleng. Lumaklak ka ba ng dictionary kagabi?" aniya habang kunwari'y pinupunasan ang kanyang ilong.

"You can say I became a better person overnight." I shrugged.

"Nakakahawa pala ang pagiging englishero niyang si Donny."

I ignored her and typed a reply to him. I somehow owe him this change. If not for his push, I might be sulking and still chasing a guy I can't have.

Yes. It long dawned on me but I had a hard time accepting it. Pero ngayon tanggap na tanggap ko na. He's in love, madly to add, and with that said I can't have my hands on him.
