25 ~ can't we forget this?

Start from the beginning

'I'm not! I'm just afraid that if I say the wrong thing to you, you'll tell him.'

'If I tell him there's a big chance he tells other people and my father might find out. You're a mudblood, he won't be happy when he hears this.'

You sighed.

'Then why did you kiss me?' You asked. 'I've been willing to ask you.'

'Sorry, but I'm going to be late for class. Snape summoned us.'

'For wizards sake Malfoy. Just... meet me after wards, is the old classroom on the 4th floor which isn't used. No-one will ever find out.'

'I don't-'

'I don't care Malfoy. If you're not there I'll personally tell you father.'

You walked away towards the classroom McGonagall asked you to go to. You walked in and noticed that you weren't even late.  You quickly sat down besides Hermione.

'I thought you'd meet with us.' Hermione spoke.

'I know... I just had to take care of something.'

McGonagall stepped towards while professor Filch tried to get the music going.

'The yule ball has been a tradition of the Triwizard Tournament since it's inception.  On Christmas Eve night, we and our guests gather in the Great Hall for a night of well-mannered frivolity.'

You looked at the boys opposite of you. Ron and Harry were fooling around and Neville passed you a smile as soon as you looked at him. You smiled back.

'As representatives of the hosts school I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward... and I mean this literally because the yule ball is first and foremost a dance.'

There was talking through the room. Everyone was asking each other who they were going to ask.

'Silence!' McGonagall spoke.  'The house of Godric Gryffindor has commanded the respect of the wizard world for nearly ten centuries. I will not have you in the cost of a single evening besmirching that name behaving like a babbling bumbling band of baboons.'

Gorge and Fred whispered something and then repeated babbling bumbling band of baboons three times. You tried your best to hold in your laughter.

'Now to dance is to let the body... breathe. Inside every girl a swan of slumbers, longing to burst forth and take flight. Inside every boy a lordly lion prepared to prance.'

She was quiet for a while and looked passed the boys.

'Mister Weasley.' McGonagall spoke while walking towards him.

'Yes.' He spoke softly.

'Will you join me please?'

He got up slowly and walked with McGonagall. Fred and George started laughing.

'Now, place your right hand on my waist.'

'Where?' He asked.

You grinned with some other students.

'My waist.'

Fred and gorge whistled at Ron and students started laughing and talking.

'One, two, three.' McGonagall spoke leading Ron over the floor.

You couldn't help but laugh and your friends joined in. It looked so awkward.

'Everybody come together. Boys on your feet!'

All the girl got up and stood there waiting. Neville stepped forwards first. He saw Lizzie looking at Seamus and decided to walk towards you. You smiled and grabbed his hand. Soon Seamus got up and asked Lizzie, then more and more boy got their partners.

-

You walked up to the 4th floor. You managed to make up some story to your friends. Still Hermione didn't really seem to trust it.

You walked towards the end of the corridor to find the old classroom. You sighed and looked inside.

'Y/N, what the hell are you doing here.'

You turned around and saw Hermione.

'N-nothing... I was j-just... I...'

'Alright I'm here so do... for wizards sake.' Draco spoke while crossing his arms. 'This is very nasty of you Y/L.'

'She followed me! I...'

'What's going on here.'

'Nothing.' You and Draco spoke in unison.

'Y/N, you know that you have a boyfriend right..'

'No! Hermione no, we're nothing like that. I hate him... believe me I really do.'

'Then what is this? You were clearly expecting him.'

You looked at Hermione and then at Draco.

'Don't you dare.' He spoke. 'We made a deal.'

Hermione crossed her arms.

'You made a deal? Y/N, you know he'll do anything to embarrass you? He'll do anything to make your life a hell.'

'Shut up you filthy little mudblood.'

'Malfoy, please just don't right now.' You sighed.

'Hermione... please just go... and please don't tell anyone.'

'You owe me an explanation Y/N.'

Then she turned around and walked away. You sighed and moved your hand through your hair.

'You're messing everything up Draco. You're ruining everything.'

You slowly sat down on the floor against the wall.

'I ruin everything?'

'Yes! What am I supposed to tell her?! What am I supposed to say when Cedric start noticing that I feel rather uncomfortable?! Why don't you tell me what the hell is going on?! You owe me.'

Draco sighed and grabbed his wand.

'Alohomora.' He opened the door and offered you his hand.

You pushed it away and got up. He rolled his eyes and walked into the classroom. You followed and Draco tried to switch on the light, it didn't work.

'Lumos maxima.' You spoke to lit up the room.

Draco closed the door. You sat down on one of the old tables and looked at Draco.

'Well?' You asked.

Draco sighed and sat down.

'Honestly, I don't know. It just... I don't know... felt like the right thing to do.'

'Why did it feel like the right thing to do.'

'I don't know. I mean, your boyfriend is a dork. Maybe I just wanted to show you that he didn't mean that much to you.'

You looked at Draco.

'Why do you care?'

'I just do.'

'That's not an answer.'

Draco sighed. He wasn't even lying, he really didn't know why. He had no idea why he pressed his lips against yours. You were still someone he couldn't be with... maybe even didn't want to be with.

'I really don't know Y/L... okay... I have no idea what the hell was wrong with me. Can't we just forget about just and just become enemies again?'

You looked at Draco and got up. You walked towards the door.

'I just don't know how I forget it.' You spoke before leaving.
