Chapter 3

Aahana didn't see Shanaya after that for the next few days. They never crossed paths but that didn't keep Shanaya from crossing Aahana's mind. She was constantly in her thoughts.

Everyone was now excited for the party that was organized by some seniors at a local club. Aahana was not really a party person and was not excited about this party at all. But since all her friends were going and she thought she'd get to see Shanaya again,she decided to go. Everyone had to contribute around 700 bucks for unlimited food and booze.

Aahana was hoping that she'd get to see Shanaya. Images of a super hot Shanaya in a sexy dress started flooding her mind. That's what pushed her to attend this party after all.

She had to buy something impressive for the party. So she went shopping with Lily the next day. And boy was shopping with Lily easy? It wasn't. It was even more confusing than her sexuality.

"Aahana come on try this, this will be better than the last one...Although even this black lace dress looks fine as hell..."

Aahana and Lily were at a Forever21 store in the nearby mall. Luckily the store was on Flat60 sale so she didn't have to spend too much money.

Finally after much confusion and argument they decided to pick one item that would make Aahana standout.

Next day at college, some guys seemed pissed.

"Why aren't they allowing us to the party? Just because we're first year? This isn't fair!"

"Don't worry even Shanaya isn't come. I heard her boyfriend Sachin has a cricket match until late evening. She's not gonna come alone. You know how protective he is. Anyways the party will be boring without her."

What do you mean Shanaya isn't coming? Wait...She has a Sachin who plays cricket?... I mean a boyfriend. Why is his name Sachin though? Their names don't even sound good together. What am I supposed to do of the dress I bought now? Hell why am I still going to party? I'm not going!

The party was supposed to start at 7 in the evening. Aahana had made her mind that she wouldn't go. There was no reason she wanted to.

"Aahana please...You have to come. Don't Tell me you feel sick. You're lying. We even bought you a dress..." Lily said as they sat on the bed in Aahana's room.

"What about the dress? I'll wear it to the next one. Look I'm really not in the mood."  Aahana said.

"Please you have to come, for me. I told my parents you'd come with me. That is why I'm allowed. Please Aa I'm getting this one night out with Anurag and who knows you'll get lucky tonight too? I'm sure there are many people who have their eyes on you,you know that,just give them a chance tonight. " Lily said.

After much convincing Aahana agreed.

I'm not gonna think about Shanaya. She has a boyfriend. I am done thinking about her. She will no longer have any effect on me. I will go out there and have a great time and not think about Shanaya at all.

Same day, 8.30 pm

Everyone was pretty much drunk. Aahana was sitting next to Lily and Anurag in a quiet corner. She was feeling like a third wheel when they would occasionally kiss.

She excused herself to pee,also because she wanted to be by herself for a while. She was entering the bathroom when she thought she saw some known reflection in the mirror. Was that Shanaya? God her mind was playing tricks she thought. She shook it off and went into the stall. She could hear someone entering the stall next to hers.

She got out,washed her hands, fixed her hair as well as her dress. It was showing off a little too much cleavage. Yet she wasn't hit by some decent guy tonight. The stall opened and there she was standing in a sexy peach dress which showed off her curves. Her gorgeous hair let down and a smile on her face that I could see in the mirror.

"What's up with us always meeting each other in the bathroom. Do you always follow me like this? " A cocky Shanaya said and she stood right next to me, Washing her hands.

"I was following you? Seems like you followed me in." Aahana said drying her hands.

"Does it matter anyway? We're both here at the same place isn't that enough?" Shanaya said with a devilish smile and moved closer.

"I didn't even say anything..." Aahana said.

They were extremely close to each other now. The sexual tension was at the peak. Shanaya was looking into her eyes. Aahana thought she would have a heart attack any minute now if Shanaya would keep up with this. Next thing Aahana knew Shanaya had placed her hand of Aahana's cheek,their lips meeting. It felt so soft and magical. There were fireworks lighting inside her.

As soon as they both started enjoying the kiss,with more passion,Shanaya pulled back.

"I have to go... I can't do this." Shanaya said and vanished from the sight as quickly as she could leaving behind a confused and flustered Aahana.

"Oh my god. What did just happen!" Aahana said not believing the past event.
