EXTRA - Happy Valentines

"Thanks, Elena," They say as I turn around and walk to the door, I see Ashton standing at the door with a grin on his face.

I walk past him, "Don't you dare," I tell him as he soon walks with me.

"I guess valentine's day isn't your favorite day of the year," he notices,

"Well you're right," I tell him, "But I bet you have plans," I add,

"Nope," he says,

"Really, how is a 'handsome' bachelor like yourself is single on valentine's day," I say sarcastically,

"Ha, ha, ha, you're not any better, you go to a boys' school and is single," he adds,

"Who said I was single?" I ask,

"You're not?" he questions,

"I didn't say I wasn't," I keep walking.

Hours pass as I sit alone in my room, some time is spent on homework, others on sleep, most study.

Ding. Cling.

I hear something, I look at my window, rocks?

I walk over and open the window, how is he throwing rocks up here? I look out the window and Ash stands in a tree.

"Rocks at a girls window, I am flattered," I joke,

"Are you going to the school dance?" He asks,

"Nope, why, have you come to ask me?" I joke even more,

"Nope, the thing is it is compulsory," he adds,

"Seriously!" 

"So I was going to ask if you would skip with me," he says, "I'll take the blame," he adds,

"That sounds good to me," I add,

"Look who has become a rebel," He adds,

"ha, ha, ha, very funny, now get down before you hurt yourself,"

Soon the dance starts a little before sunset, everyone is gone but me and Ashton. We sneak out to the stadium,

"What are we doing?" I ask,

"Watch," he says as he runs over and unlocks the dragon's stables,

"Ashton!" I whisper,

"What? Are you scared?" he asks,

"No," I tell him as I run over to him.

"You know I can't ride Aries yet," I tell him,

"I know, you are riding on Jet," he tells me,

"Jet, as in your dragon?"

"yup," He opens Jet's stable, to reveal a golden coloured dragon, he was a lot bigger than Aries.

"Wow, what type is he?" I ask, as I notice people are coming, if we are caught we could be in serious trouble,

"A fire type, now get on,"

Ashton pulls me on and we take off within a second.

"Woah! What the- Slow down-" I panic,

We fly up into the sky, quickly, I close my eyes,

"What are you doing?" he asks as I re-open my eyes, we are up in the clouds and are now moving slower.

"You can let go now," I notice I am holding his arm, I pull away.

"A little warning would be nice," I cover up,

"People were coming, it was now or never," he says.

I begin to relax and enjoy the sky.

"So why did you take me up here?" I ask,

"Well to get away from everyone else, and to enjoy the sunset," he says,

"And..." I know there is more,

"And to show you what flying is like," he says,

"I'll be flying Aries soon, so there was no need."

"Trust me there was, I know how Jackson thinks, he is overprotective. There is only so much fun you have with Armour on, if he took you for a fly, no offense, it wouldn't be fun like flying really is," he says,

"I know Jackson can be overprotective, most of the time it is annoying, but sometimes I am grateful," I say

"He is good like that,"

Soon I begin to see why Flying is that much fun. It is like the world is completely gone, only I exist right now, and anything is possible.

We land as soon as it gets dark, flying blind is not a good idea.

"Thanks for today," I say,

"No problems, If you ever want to escape again let me know," he jokes,

"Will do,"

"Elena! Elena!" I hear my brother call me,

"Sorry got to-" I turn around and our lips barely touch, but they touch, I step back and so does he,

"Got to go, don't tell my brother, um... yeh, bye," I run off,

I am such a ditz, now things will be weird between us.
