We all crowded around Alex and the IG girl.

"Why didn't you stop them?" I heard Alex ask her. "Damn. You're so useless!"

"Alex! Shut the fuck up! Leave her alone! She didn't ask to be harassed then be blamed for it." I told Alex as I tried to get in between them.

"No Elena! She needs to stand up for herself! Damn." He said as he looked over at the IG girl.

"Oh hell, what's your name?" I asked he, but she didn't budge. "Guys, go. This is going to be a girl talk." I told Alex and Isiah.

"Alright, come on Christina--" Isiah said.

"Shut up!! I'm a girl!!" Christina yelled at the boys who were snickering as they walked to the guys that called them earlier.

We watch as they do their bro handshake then turned our attention to the IG girl.

"Hey, we're not going to hurt you, or yell at you." I told her.

"To some extent." Christina added which I gave her a glare for. "What? We're obviously going to be the cliche'd 3 best friends, might as well state it now." Christina said as she rolled her eyes murmuring 'duh'under her breath.

God, why the hell won't anyone associate themselves with this cool badassity pants?

Christina and I hear a giggle and turned our attention, again, to the IG girl.

"Sorry, it does kind of make sense though, the cliche'd part of it." she said. "My name is Ara De La Cruz. I'm new here." she stated.

De La Cruz? I've heard of that name before...hmm

"Same! Oh! and by the way, my name is Elena and this is Christina." I introduced as she looked at me bewilderingly.

"I know hehe. Not to be creepy and all that, but I looked through the school year book." she said.

"But I'm new here." I told her skeptically.

"Well, I may of may not have sneaked in the principle's office yesterday...night." she stated looking innocent.

"Ohoho girl, we are going to get along just great! I love you already." Christina said.

"Alright!! Everyone, gather around the back of the classroom. If I call your name, you sit where I point!" the teacher stated.

Class started easy with the seating arrangements and introductions, and I couldn't help but feel the nostalgia of being a student.

It made me happy for some reason.

2nd period came along and Alex and Ara are with me.

It's Senior Comp, basically English, and the same process were being done except we didn't get assigned seats.

Ara sat beside me and Alex behind Ara.

I couldn't help but notice Alex giving more glances to Ara than a new mother making sure her baby is okay in the backseat.

After our class introduction, Ara had to talk to the teacher about something, but I think she's just trying to avoid Alex.

I turn to Alex and stare at him.

"What, Elena?" he asked.

"Oh gee, I don't know. You tell me." I told him. He can't fool me. He's hiding something, and I will find out.

"I really don't know what you're talking about." he said as he texted someone on his phone.

"Alex! I'm serious! What do you have against Ara?" I said.
