"Thank you." Ash murmured, making my chuckle.
"Thanks." I said, louder than Ash so Ms. Griff could actually hear us.
"Your welcome." She smiled. "Now get to class, you'll be late."
I nodded and grabbed Ash's uninjured hand. After stopping at our lockers and heading to class, we ran into Ash's old friends. Not good.
"I knew this would happen." One of them chuckled, glancing at Ash's ice pack. "He spends so much time playing that stupid game he doesn't even know the difference between mineshit and real life.
"He must've mistakes your fatass body for a cow and tried to get some steak." She added.
I squeezed Ash's shaking hand.
"For someone who doesn't play Minecraft you seem to have a little bit more than basic knowledge." I smirked.
"Um, my brother plays." She stuttered.
Her other friends turned to her.
"Wait, you don't play it too, do you?" Her tall blonde friend asked.
"Um, no, of course not..." She spit out.
While her friends were distracted I pulled Ash away.
I looked at her. She was staring down at her body, frowning. She tried pulling down on her crop top but it wouldn't stay.
"You're perfect, okay?" I reminded her.
She looked up at me, and her frown turned into a smile.
"Thanks." She blushed.
I squeezed her hand again. "And you're way more beautiful than any other girl I've seen."
She glanced at the ground and smiled. "Thanks."
"C'mon." I laughed. "Let's go."

"Will?" Ms. Smith asked.
I broke my gaze at Ash and turned to my teacher.
Shit. I wasn't paying attention.
I glanced at the board then looked back down at my desk. There was a note there.
It's 394
I smiled and looked back at Ms. Smith.
"394?" I said.
I could see the dissatisfaction on her face when she realized I got the answer right.
"Correct." She said. "Why don't you pay attention to the board. Unless you see me writing on the back of Ms. Ashley's head."
I saw Ash cringe when she heard her full name. She hates when people call her that.
I blushed and looked back at the board.

"What happened to you?" Ella asked.
We just got to lunch. No one had seen Ash's hand yet.
"I fell." She admitted. "Will made me get ice."
I rolled my eyes.
"I asked if you wanted ice." I corrected.
"Ya whatever." She sighed.
We sat down at our table and Ash squeezed in next to me.
"What's with you two?" Straub asked.
"What'd you mean?" Ash asked.
Straub rolled his eyes and poked our locked hands.
"S'Nothing." I said.
"You sure?" He smirked.
Ash looked down to hide her blush. I smiled to myself.
"Yes, Straub." I assured him. "Just friends."
Ash squeezed my hand. I squeezed back.
She looked back up, now a less red shade. She looked around at everyone and frowned.
"What?" She asked.
"Just thinking..." Brayden smirked.
"About what?" I asked.
"About how bullshit what you just said was." Graser smiled.
I rolled my eyes, but I'm sure I was blushing.
