I miss you.

That doesn't even begin to describe it at all. I honestly don't know how I lived without for 16 years. You were the thing I looked forward to every day and night.

It's been a week. One long, hard and horrible week since everything happened. Everyone has rallied, Steven, the League, Aqua and even Tabitha's new team Magma. Everyone except me.

I can't leave you, I know much you hate being alone and when you wake up I want to be here for you. It's my responsibility to tell you what happened, it's my fault after all.

I don't know what I miss the most about you.

Maybe it's the smile. You know, the one which no sane person can resist. The one which can turn any situation from bad to good. The one I am addicted too.

Maybe it's the cute little giggle. The one you do when I crack a dorky joke or I do something stupid. The way you move your fingers over your lips and pretend to cough. Yes, i noticed.

No, it's the eyes. Those ridiculously big and beautiful eyes. The ones which glow in the moonlight. The ones which sparkle in the sunlight. The ones I get lost into whenever you look at me.

No, that's not just what I miss.

"I miss you."

The ocean slowly made its way across the small beach. I strolled of the deck and checked the message I got from her.

"Let's meet up. - May"

3 Little words have never made me so happy before. I don't know why I blushed just looking at the words but I did, in front of Brawly of all people.

My shoes filled with sand but I didn't care. I slowly made my way up to the small house on the edge of the beach. I eyed the sign, double checking it's the place.

'Seashore house'

As I entered my eyes met the sight I had been waiting for. The now familiar red bow bobbled up and down as my new best friend and new neighbour stroked her Azurills bouncing body.

Her Azurill squeaked and Mays head turned to meet me. Those blue eyes sparkling from the sunlight behind me as I couldn't help but smile at her.

"Morning Brendan!" She shouted standing up and walking over to me. She casually returned her Azurill and I spotted a small blue ice lolly with her delicate fingers wrapped around it.

"Hey!" I replied as confidently as I could. "What have you been up too?" I asked rubbing the back of my neck nervously.

Why did I get so jumpy and nervous around her?

"Not much. Well, obviously I have been training my Pokemon as best I can and been practicing really hard." She said very quickly.

She quickly looked away and I spotted the faintest of red on her cheek. She was blushing?

"Sounds good. Did you beat Brawly?" I asked changing the subject for her. She turned to me and smiled that sweet smile before closing her mouth fully and biting her bottom lip.

"Oh, the Gyms. Well, I have kind of decided to not do the Pokemon League." I was taken aback by her response. My eyes widened and I quickly closed my open mouth.

"Oh."

"I'm actually going to compete In the Pokemon contest here instead." She added with a wink. Now I was the one with the red cheeks. I nodded and smiled back at her.

"Nice one." I stated as confidently as I could using every ounce of courage. "Well good luck." I slowly turned away but she quickly put a hand on my shoulder. I tensed at the contact of her gentle and warm hand.

I turned to face her bright blue eyes as she went slightly red. "I was kind of hoping, you would," Her hands clapped together gently by her chest and she rocked from side to side turning away from me slightly. "You would come with me. If that's okay?"

I couldn't help but smile at her.

"Absolutely." I replied with pure honestly. It was more than okay, more than absolutely okay, it was absolutely okay perfect.

"Thanks Bread."
