Chapter 17

"Jordan?" I whispered. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"I had to." He said, his eyebrows furrowing up.

My heart was pounding with rage.

"You had to?" I laughed sinisterly. "You let him take me, because you had to?" I seethed, stumbling towards him with fury.

Blood was pouring through my veins, I had the intent to kill. I tried my best to seem threatening, but instead I was a broken toy. Raising my right arm, I swung with a right hook towards Jordan's twisted face. But there was no collision. My small fist was enveloped in his claw. He pulled my fist firmly down to my side and held it there. Eyes like fire and smile non-existent, he held me like a predator holds a prey.

"Don't raise your fists at me, ever." he warned sternly, twisted my wrist painfully, before letting it go forcefully.

We shared a stiff stare.

Vic left through the darkness.

It was only the two of us.

"Why did you do it?" I questioned, squeezing my fist in anger. Jordan looked at me like a fox looks at a rabbit.

"There are so many reasons." He defended, looking down at his open palm before looking up with a smile. "How about the first; Josh doesn't want me to come near him or you. I'm only allowed to see him during Christmas, my own brother! Why? Because Tyler send me your photo, telling me that you were 'my type' and you know what? You were. Josh found out a few days later and what do I find out? You guys are already together! Typical. Now he's scared that I'm going to try to steal you away." He roared, looking fiercely at me as he punched the kitchen table.

"Well Josh was right, wasn't he?" I smirked, mocking him. The air changed as he looked at me in one jaggered movement, like the hand of a clock ticking; one second after the other. He ginned, a smile as sharp as a blade. A small indignant laugh gargled out of his mouth like black goo as he walked crisply towards me.

"You think that's funny? Come on Thea, I thought you had an imagination! Maybe next time you should respect the only reason you are under a roof and not in a street somewhere? Maybe you should show me a little...Appreciation." Jordan spoke dexterously, waving his hand as he spoke each syllable.

Next thing I knew, he was standing right in front of me. The wave of his cold breathe crashed against my skin as he moved his hand high in the air. Tick. His hand flew down, coming towards me rapidly, I flinched- trying to protect myself- but there was no collision.

"See. That's the type of display of respect I should be getting. Understand me, I am stronger than you, more intelligent then you and most of all I have a plan, involving you." Jordan spoke calmly through his words. Gently he pushed my hair back, slipping it behind my ear. Daring not to move, I looked bitterly at him.

Vic bounced into the room.

"I think that's enough story time, don't you think? Food? I'm hungry!" Vic chimed, strutting to the kitchen. As if on que, he pulled out a large plate, filled with tacos, burritos. Clearly, somethings about him hadn't changed, only now he has drastic mood swings and abuse issues.

The intoxicating smell of Mexican food wrapped around my nose, pulling furiously on my stomach. I was so hungry, I felt like I'd been driving for a hundred days. Eagerly, I limped towards Vic, tearing my hands away from Jordan's. I was debating whether to have the burrito or the taco, if I should add extra cheese and watch it melt orgasmicly on the wrap till it turned golden brown. Animalistic groans erupted from me as I reached out for my life line.

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk, not so quick. You're going to learn how to take food properly here. You're in my house, Jordan will show you the rules." Vic uttered as he bit into his wrap, the crunch of the lettuce rippling through out the room. Before I would say a word of retaliation, Jordan pushed me a side and pulled me with him.

"Sit." He commanded, I shook my head.

"Sit or you don't eat." He warned. My stomach growled, bringing a smirk to his lips. Defeated, I sat down.

Watching closely, Jordan picked up a taco, taking it firmly into both hands before braking it in half.

Crack

"Open wide." Jordan commanded, Vic was laughing next to him. I felt my cheek turn bloody red as I turn away, embarrassed.

Jordan grabbed my chin, forcing me to face him.

"If you don't eat from me, you don't eat period. Vic and I? We're the only thing keeping you alive. We're your provider of life. Follow our fบcking orders or you don't get to live! Understand?" Jordan snapped, bruising my chin. Vic continued to laugh sadistically in the background.

Reluctantly, I opened my mouth, tears threatening to fall.

"Good girl." Jordan smiled, forcing the taco down my throat, I choked slightly. Before I could spit it out again, he closed my mouth, holding my nose so that I'd swallow.

"Perfect, she'll be ready in no time." Vic whispered to Jordan. Ready for what?

"What am I getting ready for?" I asked, coughing up the food.

They didn't look at me.

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

Jordan pulled up his phone, I could make out 'Josh' from the screen.

My heart kicked into overdrive.

"Josh!" I pounced onto Jordan, scratching away at him- furiously grabbing to get his phone. With equal enthusiasm, Vic tore me away from Jordan, pushing me on the ground in one powerful movement. Before I could get up, Vic pulled his closed fist so high that it was touching the ceiling and then, in one quick motion, he speedily brought it down to my skin.

Repeatedly, he punched me over and over again. Strike after strike. Tears were pouring down my face as I could feel my eye swell up in pain.

"No, no, no Josh! She came over here, you should have seen her; tears running down her face. Frankly, brother, I don't know what you did to her, but she's real torn up about it." Jordan spoke through the phone, his lips dripping in lies as the sound of my skin being tortured filled the room. That fบcking snake! Painfully, I started to crawl towards Jordan. My skin burning.

"Josh, he's lying!" I sobbed, my voice muffling through my bruised cheeks. I could barely see.

"No! You miss heard! She just called for me. Bye now, can't keep my princess waiting!" Jordan hung up the phone. Both empty silence and tears engulfed the room. His smile of content was stamped all over his face.

"You're disgusting!"  I spat through my tears, only to receive a hard blow to my back. Through my swollen eyes, I watched with tears as Vic came towards me. My skin felt itchy against the carpet as he pulled me to face him.

Looking towards the ceiling, both Vic and Jordan hung over my head like a deadly fog. A faint buzzing could be heard in the background.

"Now, this way little Thea, will never be able to repress us." Vic announced, his smile spreading dangerously across his teeth as he gripped the buzzing machine in his hand.

"Josh." I whispered, comforting myself before I was cut into darkness.
