~a hour later~
I take a shower & I change into comfy clothes..
I walk downstairs & I see Jasmila's crying on the couch..
Something must've happened..
I never seen Jasmila cry like this..
I looked around but I saw the kids playing with Nate..
So what could be wrong?..
"What's wrong Mila?" I ask worried
"Nayeli & Johnson..they.." she bursts out crying
Okay now I'm worried..
They aren't home & I was wondering where they both were at..
Oh god..something bad happened to them?!?!
No no..it can't be..
Jasmila & Nayeli are my only best friends I ever had.
I sit down & hug her tightly
"Tell me please.." I plead now tearing up
"They got in a car accident." She says & cries in my arms
I gasp & tears build up in my eyes
"This happened right now?" I ask her as a tear rolls down my cheek
"Yes..the nurse said they are at the hospital..but I'm scared" she says
"Omg Nayeli..Johnson.." I say & I start crying..
Jack runs downstairs & comforts us..
While tearing up also...
"He's my best friend girls..I don't want them both dead..we need to go visit them now." He says & stands up
"Jack..I'm scared.." I say
"Don't be...I'm here" he says & grabs my hand..
Jasmila rolls her eyes & sniffles
"That makes us feel so much better now" she says
"I'm sorry Mila...how about we all go together?" He says
She nods & she drags me up the stairs..
-at the hospital-
I walk into the hospital..
Only 3 people in the waiting room..
A young girl with her mother & a elderly lady..
The young girl had her hair in pigtails & a mask over her mouth..
Her mother giving her phone to the young girl as she looked at the tv..
The elderly lady knitting as she waited..
It seemed so quiet & tranquil..
You could hear a pin drop inside this hospital..
I walked up to the desk
"I would like to visit a patient here." I say with my lips trembling slightly..
I'm in my pajamas still with only a sweater over me..
Since the hospital is cold inside..
"What's the patient's name?" She says
"Nayeli Johnson" I say
"Are you family?" She asks
"I'm.."
"She's family." A nurse says
"I was asking her Ronda" the receptionist says rudely to the nurse
"The patient asked for her & the other girl over there" the nurse says smiling at me
"Alright go inside.." the receptionist says rolling her eyes
I grab Jasmila's hand..
Jack frowns
"Ask to see Johnson..I'll see him in a few" I say & peck his lips..
I walk inside following the nurse..
We walk up to room 16
She opens the door for us..
"Go right ahead" she says holding the door open..
Me & Mila walk in
I see Nayeli laying down with her eyes open..
"Hi guysss" she slurs a bit
"She's on pain medications right now..your little friend here is lucky to be alive..she got T-boned by a drunk driver." The nurse says
"Does she have any scars,bruises or cuts?" I ask her
"Believe it or not..none at all..just some minor injuries..like scratches,bumps" she says
"It's a miracle babe..your alive!" I say & I hug her tightly
"Lynn..I can't die..I'm a cat..I got 8 more damn lives to live." She says & giggles
I giggle & Jasmila snuggles with us
"I missed you guys..where were you guys?" She asks
"We were at home..do you remember anything of earlier tonight?" Mila asks her
"We were driving on a green light..Johnson was talking to me & after that..I don't know" she says grabbing her head
"It's ok babe...your alive & that's all that matters" I say & she smiles
"Johnson's alive too" she blurts out
"I gotta go tell jack" I say excitedly
"We should visit him" Mila says
"You two ain't visiting my man without me..he can't be alone with women." Yeli slurs
"Yeli..your hooked up on a IV. We'll visit Johnson & make sure he won't do no funny business..I'm gonna go get Jack okay?"
She nods & I leave the room..
I run out & I see the receptionist left her desk.
I sneak him in & I walk him to Johnson's room..
Which is only 3 rooms down..
From where Nayeli's room is at..
I open the door & he walks in with me.
He gives a tearful hug to Johnson & Johnson smiles at me..
"I see they put you in a happy state." I say smiling & I sit at the edge of the bed..
"Nah...the medicine's wearing off a bit..but I got no scars,bruises or cuts at all" he says
"Wow Johnson..you & Yeli are walking miracles" I say smiling
He giggles & I reach down..
I grab a bottle of water & I take a huge gulp
"Shouldn't you both be home..making a baby?" He blurts out as I'm about to swallow it..
I choke & Jack hits my back lightly..
I gasp & I look over to see..
Johnson smirking & wiggling his eyebrows
"No..we haven't thought of another yet." I say lowly..
"We never got to talk..you wanted to talk to me about something" Jack says looking at me
"Not yet..we'll talk..soon." I say & Johnson stares at us.
"Something up with you two?" He asks
"No JJ..we're good..I'm just a little overwhelmed" I say sighing loudly
"Don't get too stressed..just stay positive babygirl" he says & sings it loudly
I giggle & cover his mouth quickly
It felt good..laughing..
But deep down..I knew when we would go home..
I would have to tell Jack..about my true feelings for him.
I hope it's not a bad decision of mine..to wind up with him again..
He cares about me..
I care about him..
He still loves me & even though I haven't said anything..
I feel the spark burning again between us..
Meaning our love hasn't died..
