Tazlynn's POV:
~the next day~
I'm in my room scrolling through Instagram..
It's a Sunday which means no challenges today..
I hear footsteps running up the stairs..
I hear my door open & slam shut
I look up from my phone to see a pair of brown eyes staring at me
"Lynn.." Jasmila says panting & grabbing onto her chest
"Whats wrong?" I ask frantically
I sit her down at the edge of the bed with me
She sighs & I hand her a bottle of water
She drinks some of it & stares at me..
Before tearing up..
"Mila something wrong?" I ask her
"Ok..don't freak out..but I went to the doctors..since I've been wondering why I haven't gotten pregnant yet..you know better than anyone else Lynn..I want kids badly.." she says
Her voice cracks at the end
"What happened?" I ask her rubbing her back
Her lips tremble & a single tear rolls down her cheek
"I can't have children." She says before crying into my arms
"Your infertile?" I ask her
She nods & I hug her tightly
"The doctor said i wouldn't be able to have any children of my own..but that there's different ways..there's pills I have to take if I want to & adoption." She says
"Those are two great options..at least you have options Mila!" I say hugging her
"Yes...but I haven't told Nate the news.." she says frowning
"Why not?"
"Because he badly wants a kid. We have been trying for a full on year & nothing..to find out I'm infertile will kill him internally." She says
I look behind & my eyes widen
When I see Nate right at the door..
He has his arms crossed & his eyes widened
He storms out & Jasmila freaks out
"He heard it all!" She says gripping onto her hair
"Go talk to him." I say
She nods & follows him..
I stay in my room with a very asleep Ella right next to me.
I sigh & realize how lucky I am to have her..
I feel bad for Jasmila..
but she has those two options..it's completely up to her.
Jasmila's POV:
I run across the hallway & I see Nate standing in our room
Looking at our pictures..
I walk in & close the door quietly
He turns around & stares at me..
"We promised to not keep secrets from each other.." he says
"Nate I'm sorry..I just know the fact..you love children & you want one of your own..I just feel like you made a mistake of marrying a woman..who can't even have one." I say tearing up
He grabs me & we sit down
He holds my hands
"It doesn't matter..we can always do something else..if you don't wanna have kids yet..then we can wait..so you cannot carry a baby at all?" He asks
I nod tearing up
He wipes my tears & kisses my forehead
"Jasmila. The first time I saw you..everything in the room froze & all i saw was you..you think that this little small bump in the road is gonna ruin our marriage..it's not okay? I love you & only you..we'll try different ways to have a child.." he says
I nod & peck his lips
"I love you Nate." I say in barely a whisper
He smiles
"I love you too.."
"The doctors gave me two options to take a look at.." I say
He looks at me & waits for me to continue
"There's medicine to help my fertility problems & there's adoption" I say
"Why don't we adopt a child?!" He says excitedly
"We'll have to look for adoption agencies & at the children themselves..i have always thought about it..but never thought of dong it actually...I guess I always knew.." I say
My smile dropping back to a frown
"Aye..let's go to agencies tomorrow..okay? We can see little kids..maybe even babies!" He says
I smile & rest my forehead on his..
"Your a amazing man..I got blessed" I say giggling
"I'm the one who got blessed lil mama" he says & kisses me softly..
Tazlynn's POV:
I can already smell the scent a new baby coming..
