Claire

"Are you really sure about this?" inis na usal ni Shawn. She couldn't blame him. Natutulog na ito nang dinisturbo niya.

"Do I look like the type who'll kid around?" Mabilis niyang pinatakbo ang motor sa madilim na kalsada. Wala siyang pakialam. Kailangan niyang magmadali.

Naramdaman niyang napakibit-balikat si Shawn at humikab. Damn, she didn't even explain things well. "Shit, Shawn. Huwag mong ipakita na nais mo nang tapusin ang kahibangan ko at umuwi sa kama. This is serious!"

"Claire, hindi ko maiintindihan ang urgency ng sitwasyong ito. Kung nakalimutan mo, tinulak mo ng malakas ang pinto ng kuwarto ko at nagsabing 'Shawn, wake up! Emergency! Emergency!'. Hell, Claire Faye! Bagalan mo naman!" direderetsong sabi nito. Imikot siya sa mabatong daanan dahil ito ay pinakamalapit na daan patungo sa venue ng party ni Sophie.

"Where are we going?" Nahimigan niya ang pagkabahala ni Shawn na mas humigpit ang yakap sa beywang niya. Damn it, hindi siya makahinga.

"You'll know when we get there." Ngumisi siya kahit hindi siya nakikita nito. "Hold on tight, this is going to be a rough ride."
