Women's March (not an update, IMPORTANT)

I am a feminist.

I am a young Canadian women who believes in equals rights for EVERYONE.

Even though I don't live in the United States, the words and political views of the new President are horrifying to me.

The way I take it, he is someone who wants to take away a lot of people's basic human rights, and that angers me down to my very core.

The decisions he makes as leader of the United States of America will ultimately effect all of us, and that is scary.

Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the Women's March however, if you are marching today, just know that I stand in solidarity with all of you, whether you are in Washington, New York, London, Sydney or anywhere else. Also know that I love you all 💖

I cannot tolerate bullying, therefore I WILL NOT tolerate any decision that Sigñor Cheese Puff makes.

That's it. Sorry it isn't an update but this has been on my mind all day so I had to share it.

(P.S. a mini disclaimer, these are my own opinions, and I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, therefore do not feel like you will be judged if your beliefs differ from mine. I want everyone to feel as if they are safe to express their views, and I wouldn't want to deny anyone their right. I'm in Philosophy right now and we are learning about political philosophy and ethics. We just recently looked at the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights so I just wanted to share with you one of the articles I liked from it:
Article 19.

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

So with that in mind, everyone should feel safe with expressing their opinions on this page and have conversations, because understanding one another is very beneficial 🤗💕)
